The Battle Beasts Countdown Begins! | |

Almost 3 years after the announcement that Diamond Select Toys had acquired the Battle Beasts license, it looks like we may finally begin to see something done with the brand. A countdown clock has recently shown up at the Diamond Select Toys website, showcasing the new Battle Beasts logo with the tagline "The Roar Rages On". The countdown clock (as of this writing) is at 98 days out putting this reveal at the beginning of April (potentially in time for the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo or C2E2 for short).
The first item released from the revitalized Battles Beasts line was a promotional Alligator Minimates Battle Beast figure with silver armor and green eyes given out at New York Toy Fair. There have been other promotional Battle Beasts Minimates released throughout 2010 (with various changed to armor, eye and claw color) but we have not seen anything released since. There was a small collection of statues that were present at San Diego Comic Con on display at the Diamond Select booth, but no more is known that that.
