The 2010 line featured thematic waves with creative takes on both movie characters shown onscreen and offscreen.
In this new batch of images you can check out Arctic Threat Duke, Arctic Threat Snow Job, and the return of the classic Silver Mirage with Chuckles! The release date for the Silver Mirage is currently unknown, but Duke(Arctic Threat) and Snow Job(Arctic Threat) are planned for release early next year in the initial waves of Pursuit of Cobra. Joe Toy News. |  HISS Tank.com boards member Gyre-Viper comes through with a prototype of the never before seen Iron Klaw from the 25th Anniversary/Modern Era G.I. Joe line! This figure could still see the light of day at retail eventually, and would have been the 1st G.I. Joe Extreme figure to be released in the 25th/Modern Era line. As that line celebrated all years of the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero line, it's not too surprising that a G.I. Joe Extreme figure was planned. Bear in mind, we DID see a M.A.S.K. character.

This figure comes with translucent attachments reminiscent of ice and comes equipped to destroy the Joes in an arctic environment. This figure bears some resemblance to Mr.Freeze from the Batman Forever line. Joe Rise of Cobra line will transition to Pursuit of Cobra in 2010, and this figure is set for release in one of the initial waves.
Utilizing the Resolute Storm Shadow body and a mix of new and reused weapons and accessories, Storm Shadow(Jungle Assault) showcases a Storm Shadow armed to the teeth and ready for jungle infiltration and domination. Interestingly enough, the glider is similar in appearance to Snake Eyes' glider from G.I. Joe Resolute. Joe Modern Era/25th Anniversary fans rejoice! Macca428 posted an auction early this morning for the Cobra Viper Squad, and the previously unrevealed, Cobra B.A.T. Squad! These troop builder 5 packs come with 4 troopers and a designated leader figure, in the Viper Squad's case a Cobra Viper with gold faceplate, and for the B.A.T. Squad, a B.A.T. with red trim.
The Viper Squad was previously announced as a Toys 'R' Us exclusive no word on if it will remain a TRU exclusive or be released at mass retail. However the B.A.T. Squad was an enticing surprise and fans hope we see it eventually. A B.A.T. troop builder was at the top of many wishlists for a multi-pack in the 25th Anniversary line and it seems that us fans may finally get what we wished for!
