Gundam Model Kit News
Bandai-Real-Grade-RX-78-Gundam-11 For the Gunpla 30th Anniversary, Bandai is releasing an all new 1/144 scale model of the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam, but don't let the small scale of this model fool you! Influenced by innovations in years past on both the Perfect Grade and Master Grade Gundam models, this new RG Gundam model is a modernized hybrid with high attention to detail. It features:
  • New realistic sticker detail
  • Transformable core fighter
  • Internal frame
Internal frames are usually found on 1/100 or larger models. Could this RG RX-78-2 be the 1st in the line of many? Perhaps the Gundam Exia or Wing Gundam may follow?

GA Graphic was able to take photographs of the model on display at Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010. On display were the completed model and runners, as well as the fully articulated internal frame. Click on the title bar to see more!

Gundam Model Kit News
MG-Wing-Gundam-05 Bandai has released new images of their highly anticipated Master Grade Wing Gundam model kit! This 1/100 scale kit is transformable between mobile suit and mobile armor "bird" mode. It is also the 1st time that Bandai has revisited the TV version of the Wing Gundam since the mid 90's(the last kit of the TV version was the 1/100 HG kit).

The MG Wing Gundam is much more articulated and detailed than it's HG predecessor. Transformation is a bit different, and the model features an internal ABS frame. The buster rifle seems to be secured using one of the bird claws on the forearms, in mobile suit mode. This kit will retail for 4,000 yen and is set for release in April, click on the title bar to see more!

Gundam Model Kit News
Master-Grade-Wing-Gundam-01 The latest issue of Hobby Japan reveals a new entry into the Master Grade series of 1/100 Gundam models, the MG Wing Gundam! This is the version from the Gundam Wing TV series, and the last time we saw a TV Wing Gundam in 1/100 scale, was over a decade ago with the HG(High Grade) version.

We've seen different versions of the Wing Gundam in the MG line, be it the initial design by Hajime Katoki, to the Endless Waltz version. This release outdoes it's HG predecessor with much more detail and moving parts. It can also transform into it's bird-like mobile armor mode. It is set for release in April. 534311402009100123274410352784 The RX-78, the original Gundam design and one that makes it's way into each and every Gundam line each year, just as much as Hasbro makes Clone Troopers, and probably more so. The RX-78 Gundam was surprisingly absent from the Robot Damashii line...until now!

  • RX-78 Gundam in G3, Prototype, RX-78-2, and Casval paint schemes.
  • V2 Buster Assault Gundam
  • Gundam Unicorn Unicorn Mode
  • Gundam Unicorn Destroy Mode
  • 00 Gundam 7 Swords MSV
  • Jegan
  • Turn A Gundam
Even Gundams that were absent from the wide-ranging MSiA! lines are being made into this line! There hasn't been a new V Gundam figure OR model made in years up until now! Click on the title bar to see them all!
