TheSymbiote: dam i want those. PyroniusRex: Aww man, why Texas!? nomad1632: aw man lucky that classic warmachine looks sweet but Im mainly after the movie based figures love the true mech armor look over the classic muscle tights look nomad1632: everyone lets be on the hunt lets get at these before the bulk internet sellers get em. deceptifocus: wow thats the store i go to!
also its bad when you have no room left to display figures so the stovetop gets a wave hah, who needs to cook when you has ironman scarecrow: Such tempting little pieces of plastic. Especially War Machine and Mk. I. Snowflakian: That war machine is perfection! Want so bad. T_T MegaPrime33: Wow those actually look pretty good. Damn it! Tarquinius: Were they registered in the system? I know I've found toys early and they weren't registered in the system indicating that they weren't suppose to be out trebleshot: Damn, I definitely want that War Machine. Maybe Dynamo and MK I, too. have a plenty movement??? Autobot_Goldbug: Did they increase the price on comic packs??? outsider: These look like they could fit into the MU series nicely... especially War Machine. Are they comparable? Autobot_Goldbug: Quote:

I also picked up all 3 secret wars as well. AWSOME. sabretoothe: the card things that come with the toys are kinda cool, you can mix and match them up, there are 3 cards, two clear one solid, each card has either head and arms, chest, or legs. you can play frankenarmors switching out different cards to make new iron man armors. there is also slots on the base to display them.
the actual toys are almost as poseable as the 6" line, the only difference being the wrists.
the iron monger from the last line looks in scale with the new mk III toy, so you can create your own final show down between ob and stark.
these new toys are way better than the older ones. TheSymbiote: toyark is just torture for me today, every post i read about i got the new iron man toys or all 3 sw 2packs is just rubing it in my face. lol sabretoothe: i just made my mkIII have a removable face plate, and made a lil' tony face to go underneath it....i'll post pics Tarquinius: Quote:

these new toys are way better than the older ones. | Since the stane in ironmonger was already MU sized, that's wonderful to hear.
I may have to pick up another one for that now. decepticon_mark: Quote:

DrewBlank: The Iron Man 2 toys shipped to my TRU over the weekend, and all they had left this morning were three or four figures and a repulser glove.
What's up with the numbering? The Iron Man that I bought is number 26, and it looks like Crimson Dynamo is number 25. Are the Iron Man 2 toys part of the 2010 Marvel Universe line? Prem1x: Not part of the MU line. Just a complimentary line.
I know the first post has a receipt scan, but does any have the TRU item 3 (SKU)? DrewBlank: I don't know if it's useful or not, but my receipt says:
IRON MAN 3.75FIG SERIES 2

I'm still thinking these figures are going to count as MU series 4 and 5 for the year, which would be clever on Hasbro's part. Kluster Bombs: Got this from another forum. They are not out yet at Target.

IF it isn't though, does this mean the shelves for the stores that released early will be restocked on he first with more IM2 toys? DrewBlank: My ToysRus put out a case of the movie wave today, and they still had a few of the comic wave left.
(And they were numbered 2 through 6, which means I was wrong about IM 2 being part of the MU line, but means Hasbro plans at least 15 more movie figures, which is good news.) Snowflakian: Quote:

Last time I planned to go to the store on the day they told me they'd be out, and they were sold out as they went ahead and put them out early. CyberScream95: Really can't wait for these to come out. Whats funny is I was just thinking about the fact the latest MU wave we had was back in November. I saw the initial "saturation" phase but then I can't find them anywhere now. It looks like all th stores are investing in previous wave assortments.
Kinda makes me worried for the next wave or two. They just don't seem to be doing well with getting the new products available!! Haloid1177: I found a case of these put out at my TRU yesterday. Got Mark III, Hypervelocity, and Power Assault Iron Man. I really like these figures, and it's even better that they are the same scale as the MU line. chevron: I was quite surprised to find some of these where I live in Northern Ireland on Saturday (Smyths) and again tonight (ASDA).
I'm very tempted by Iron Monger and the Mark 1, but the price is a bit much (£7.49+). Hopefully Argos will do a 2-for-1 like they did with the first movie! trebleshot: Quote:

I think this is the first we've heard of them being released in Europe. CrownCoke: I found these in TRU north of Nashville TN yesterday. They also had the new Spider-Man line as well. This line is MUCH better. chevron: Quote:

They had the first seven numbered figures and I would guess they had at least 2 or 3 of each. flipwilson: I've had the entire wave of comic, concept, and movie armors (except for iron monger) completed for about a week now. They're worlds better than the MU figures. Snowflakian: So I decided to check again today...
One store had them, but were sold out of the ones I wanted. So I went to the next store which had a lower store number to see if they had them, this is where the trouble started...
Toys R Us Store number 9516
They had 2 people in the entire store. The lady I spoke was some elderly lady with a bad red dye job and glasses claiming to be a manager, her name was Jan. First she lied to me flat out about the marvel universe figures, saying they didn't carry them when they were right behind her. When I asked about Ironman 2 she said "what's out is what we have" didn't even bother to check the back. When I asked her about the street date, she came up with a new round of lies, saying they can't stock them till they are told, and local stores have gotten in trouble for this. (Untrue, as the other stores just stocked them today as I talked to their managers.) Then she continued on bad mouthing the other stores and employees. I have to say I've never left a store more pissed off than I have today. How do people like this stay employed? At the very least, she should have just gone in the back and acted like she checked instead of making new excuses everytime I poked a hole in her lies. Already filed a store complaint against her at the customer line, let's see if that actually gets anything fixed. So if you're in missouri, this is the south county store. If you get her trying to help you, ask for a different employee. Anyone is better than her, she'll never find what you need, and probably lie about it too.
If it wasn't for the other stores I talked to today, I'd be about read to swear off toys r us entirely. Seriously how do such liars stay employed? ludovicotek: Quote:

I know that it has been discussed here and other places before but the incompetence of some store employees is just incredible. I don't even want to get started because I'll go off on a huge rant that nobody really wants to read.
On a positive note, I did manage to find IM2 Movie Series Mark II and comic series Stealth Operations figures. They were the only two IM2 figures left on the pegs when I got to the store during my lunch break. Kluster Bombs: Finally got movie MK I today. I still need Iron Monger and Classic IM. I haven't seen Iron Monger yet and all the Classic IM's i've seen have sloppy paint job on the head/face. Prem1x: No joy here. One TRU employee almost admitted to having them by saying she can't sell them till 3/1. Another TRU had labels for the IM2 Muggs and some more of those and the Squadies fresh out of boxes but not shelved yet. Wasn't interested in those. Snowflakian: Quote:

I wish the one I was dealing with was even half the capabilities of the employee you mentioned. payres: Yeah they went out on ASDA shelves over the weekend - there's reports on several of the TF boards of people finding them - not the comic wave though :-( ams: Picked up a few today, and while I don't care for the smaller scale, I'm quite impressed.
Anyone have a comprehensive list of these guys, including series numbers? HugeBadWolf: Pics of MkII that I picked up in Asda: Iron man " 3 3/4" MkII Pictures
Prob should've posted 'em in here rather than making a new thread - D'oh!
Also picked up the deluxe figures in Asda for a tenner each
Cheers,
Doug Archienj7: The TRU in Huntington, WV had them last week, if any members here are near there. I got the only War Machines though, sorry. CyberScream95: I saw some of the super hero squad ones at TRU today, but they said I couldn't buy them due to the street date. Tarquinius: I got my Mark 1 movie, Dive Armor, Warmachine, Mark II and Iron Monger today.
Anybody seen Crimson Dynamo? Kluster Bombs: Quote:

Anybody seen Crimson Dynamo? | Yes. I got him with my other figs and he is awesome! Saint Phe: I received a Mark III in the mail about two weeks ago, and last weekend I bought a Power Assault and saw a couple of Comic Series figures I didn't want at a Toys R Us about 90 miles away from where I live. Then yesterday, they finally stocked the figures at my local Toys R Us. They had just stocked the whole first wave of the Concept Series and I grabbed the Mark I, Deep Dive, and Hyper Velocity.
Has anybody found a Vault Guardsman from the Comic Series yet? I read something that said he's in the first wave. Tarquinius: Quote:

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Snowflakian: Quote:

Can anyone confirm or deny this? | Tuesdays and thursdays generally have the newest stuff that came on the truck the night before.
But they do restock randomly sometimes too. They are supposed to stock if they have more cases whenever the pegs have enough room for a new case.
It doesn't usually happen like that though from laziness to whatever other excuses. Sometimes stores never stock till a customer asks the right employee if they have any of so and so item in the back, and they actually check, and bring it out. They'll then stock the shelves. Otherwise, it's pretty much random if it's not one of those 3 things. Tarquinius: Has anybody seen the Heavy Metal pack at Kmart yet? I hate going to Kmart and I only want to go there when I know the exclusive has been released. Autobot_Goldbug: Quote:

I bought a Mark III last night at Toys R Us to make a helmet-less Tony Stark, and when I had the two figures next to each other I noticed they were completely different. I actually like the Mark IV ALOT better. rwsharpjr: I picked up a couple of the First Appearance Comic Series Iron Man figures.
I thought that one was gold, but apparently it just has more wash on it. trebleshot: Picked up War Machine yesterday and he is amazing. I really like that the shoulder pads can be moved to avoid restricting the articulation. Also the shoulder weapons are articulated too.
Definitely recommending this one. If you get any of this line at all, make sure WM is one of them. Tarquinius: Quote:

A close second is IM Movie Mark 1. It has pretty standard articulation but what really makes it for me is the paint job. It is very intricate and if anything should be a mus if you want a hall of armor or an evolution of Iron Man decepticon_mark: Found only the deluxe packs and one of the original armors here at our TRU, the rest was sold out{huge endcap display}. I picked up the deluxes. The figures in the deluxe packs{Negative Zone upgrade and Juggernaut upgrade} seem very flimsy and remind me of a happy meal toy but the armor upgrades are pretty cool and they will fit on your MU Iron Mans so that where they'll be going in my collection{on all my extra armors like with the upcoming Target two packs}. Looks decent, but I already have the same mold in different paints; Mark II. The Mark II is excellent, I LOVE the shiny paint job, just wish it had molded rivets instead of painted. Quote:

Do want Hulkbuster and Titanium Man but those as well but those don't hit for a while.
The ones I have are excellent though, Definatly great figs ad am very glad to add them to my collection. boombatty: I picked up the Comic Series set 01 (War Machine, First Armor, Red/Gold and Stealth Armor and Crimson Dynamo at a Kmart in West Chester, PA of all places. I went to get that new Super Mario game for the Wii for my kids since they were so good at the dentist and walked out with 2 arm fulls of figures (and Firestorm and Robin Earth 2 to boot from the DC series). Originally Posted by Quasimodo well good to hear its a good figure. ive heard sum bad stuff about the articulation of it | About the only issue articulation-wise is his hip joints are somewhat restricted so he can't raise his legs up beyond a decent running pose. Kmart had the cases on the shelves unopened so of course they wouldn't sell them but they would sell the little robot heroes, go figure. Anyway Target came thru. Picked up Deep Dive Armor, Power Assault Armor, and WAR MACHINE, all for 6.99 each. They had alot of the other stuff too including the race car which actually in person doesn't look that bad but even with parts of it becoming a booster pack for the figure I just can't break down and buy a formula one for Iron Man to drive. Now if we get a Tony Stark figure, then I'll consider it. boombatty: Quote:
