Posted on 01-30-2010 at 09:07 PM by Shin Densetsu under Marvel Toy News.
IrOnPaTrIoT has posted new images of the wave 2 figures from the upcoming Iron Man 2 line by Hasbro. Shown in this new batch of images are:
  • Iron Man Mark IV
  • Iron Man Mark V
  • Iron Man Mark VI
  • War Machine movie version
Wave 2 is expected to arrive at retail in March. Click on the title bar to see more!

*EDIT: The figure we've listed as the Mark V armor(in Silver Centurion) colors, may actually be the suitcase armor figure, also from wave 2, and may include modular armor parts*

**EDIT - Images and link removed at the request of Hasbro.

I'm going to have to wait to see these in hand. But right now I'm leaning on just getting the 2 comic series only, and then the MU extremis.
Tarquinius:
For some reason the paint on these doesn't seem as crisp
nomad1632:
the paint doesn't look crisp but if you look their missing all the part like warmachines weapons, and any other accessories...I'm still 110% getting these I know in hand the real figures will be a must buy.
nomad1632:
the warmachine totally blows me away wish we had a pic with the missile and Gatling gun attached

Very good point, they are still only prototypes/initial images

The War Machine is cool but I think I prefer the comic version. Has anyone who has picked these figures {Wave 1} up recently posted what type of articulation ie XMO or MU that they have?

Articulation is XMO Wolverine style.
nomad1632:
I figured they were prototypes cause of the paint and lack of weapon accessories that we see them with in package. Ive never been a super fan of the classic look armors I like armor to look like armor not muscle tights...the classics are good especially warmachine but realistic movie armor all the way for me!
Ravenxl7:
War Machine looks really good, imo. He, along with Iron Man Mk VI, will be the only figures I get from this wave. It'll be interesting to see what the Movie Whiplash/CD figure looks like. The Comic CD looks good, so I'm hoping the movie one looks good too.
nomad1632:
I want all the movie based figures and Ill probably get 2 warmachines lol looks too sick..only movie one I'm on the fences about is the silver centurion on just doesn't do it for me
