Art Asylum has revealed some new info for their upcoming Marvel Select Spider-Man and Cyclops. The Cyclops will come with a variant. The normal, readily available, version will be the Silver Age Cyclops. The variant will be an X-Factor Cyclops. The variant will only be available in a full case of Marvel Select Cyclops (4 Silver Age, 2 X-Factor).

We also have our first pictures of Marvel Select Spider-Man in package. There are three photos showing the front, back and side of the package. The figure is sculpted by "Digger".

When I look at the Spider-Man, it looks like a Digger Mesch sculpt. He always put a lot of detail into a piece, especially in the fabric, but still put in enough curves that it had a cartoony look. He did a 10 inch Klingon for Playmates that's still one of my favorite toys. When I had it on my desk I would lose ten or fifteen minutes at a time just staring at its hair.

Which is weird. Anyway, I haven't noticed Digger's name around, does he still sculpt on a regular basis?

Not too sure. I see people on various forums throw his name around. It was rare to see AA go out of their way to mention him, which was cool.

now I hope they give us the other 3. I can just see the display stand that would come with iceman.
