Artist77:
The ONE figure shown here is not impressive. And that sucks, because Captain America is my fave.
TheSymbiote:
i like it,especially since its uses the improved articulation like colossus .
Fierce Krypton:
give me wings or give me death captain!
boombatty:
I love it! Something different is good. Remember folks, you WILL be getting cmic series figures that will be comic accurate.

Yup! I agree. I'll pick this up just because I actually think it looks cool
uberlad:
I think it looks great! There are a lot of ways to screw up Cap's costume. This, fortunately, is not one of them.
Saint Phe:
It looks like he has MU hip joints!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Prem1x:
I think it looks great. A lot more interesting than any of Wolverine's looks in the X movies (or Origins).
MU hips FTW.

HELL YES! Looks decent so far!
decepticon_mark:
Not a big fan of the movie costume but in addition to picking up the comic series figures I might have to pick this one up just to have on card and hanging up since I really actually like the way the figure looks.
astig:
wow that's nice looking. can't wait for the toyline. so far so good. some sloppy paints here and there, but overall i like it. i like the "same but different" look they've done with the costume. although imo i don't see any resemblance to chris evans. could be just in the pics though.
Snowflakian:
Looks pretty sweet, but I'll wait till we see his avengers outfit. This looks like his WWII outfit.
nomad1632:
its obviously a prototype especially when looking at the left elbow joint and the paint. but it looks great and promising I look forward to seeing the final product.

except that his shield is the round one and not the "kite" one he used in WWII, so this might be his modern costume after all. just imo
RenegadeReviews:
I look favorably upon this. The movie will really have to wow me for me to get a movie Cap as a movie Cap, but what potential is there here for customizing? Snowflakian or anybody, at a glance, see something sparked? Depending on stature, of course...
Archaea:
nice cap but he needs the wings.
Deefuzz:
I actually love it. I think it has some nice new elements blended with some Ultimates elements. I look forward to seeing more from this line.
I am sure we will have to get some comic series figures. Hopefully a Red Skull will be thrown in there too.

Agreed. There was a Bucky Cap MU figure packed in with those Wal-Mart 2-packs (can't remember which oversized figure he came with) but I couldn't pull the trigger because I only wanted the pack for him.

I pulled the trigger...and while the Cap figure is decent...it uses that Daredevil body...so the torso looks too short, and the left hand can't hold anything, so the inclusion of the pistol and dagger with sheaths was cool...but since he can't hold both weapons at the same time..disappointing. Decent figure; but disappointing unfortunately.
Skrull is cool but I think the left wrist joint on mine is stuck.

He doesn't use the kite one in the cap movie though.
This suit is his third costume, as depicted in the concept arts.
He goes, bedazzled america suit, army-ish suit, then this which is both combined.

I guess I am a little glad I passed. But I still half wish I bought it. I kept checking to see if it went on clearance but never saw it marked down.
Oh well, here's hoping we will get one in either the Cap movie line, or the revived Marvel Legends line.

We might, Hasbro hinted at it during our last few q/a sessions with them for Marvel. I'm guessing Bucky Cap might be one of the new 6" figures for 2011 and one of the figures in the Captain America comic series of the movie line.
mattymatt:
I like the articulation its MU meets JOE, i hope they come out with some ww2 troops or maybe shield agents.

HELL YEAH troops would be cool!
Nightrain:
The costume looks cobbled together by a fanboy. If it is WWII, I have no problem with that. But I won't buy it either way.

I'm with you on the not buying it, but yeah it's cobbled together.
The story goes for cap at least: (Highlight to read)
Rogers becomes the super soldier, scientist that did it is killed, US Government can't make another so instead of putting him in the field, they put him in the USO show to his dismay, in a colorful suit to rally the boys.
He abhors this, and wants action, dumps the colorful suit for a more military suit to be out in the field, which he soon discovers the USO suit really did rally the boys, so he cobbles a new suit together combining the two. All of which, iirc is with the round shield.
So his avengers suit may be different since most of the cap movie takes place in WWII. He may get new fighting togs when he joins up with the avengers formally in the avengers flick as even the bits in present day for Cap, may have him still using his old suit, as it's before a new suit can even be designed for him by shield.
