uberlad:
while everybody's waiting, there are new pics on marvelousnews.com... One character we've only seen the back of, and a big surprise is there, too.
uberlad:
I wonder if we can get galactus paper hats with our HTS orders?

I know it's not likely, but it would rock my socks!
eva00kai:
wow....they ruined the wolverine figures to me...those stupid hips and the i dont like that head sculpt at all.....but HELL YEAH for spidey 2099, doc samson, world war hulk, apocalypse, iron mans newest armor, and the sentinels!
nomad1632:
the iron man figures are sick!!!! cant wait for high res images got a great heavy 6inch hulkbuster, and mark 4 plus some great 3.75 figures!!!
Robogeek28:
Wow, lots of good looking stuff.
TheSymbiote:
hulks face looks better here,i cant stop looking at the bleeding edge iron man ,dam its all so beautiful
prowl26:
this has been so epic I think my brain might explode, Gladiator and Captain Marvel, WW Hulk?!?! I mean come on!
jamesmruddy:
Bleeding Edge Armor, for the win.
ludovicotek:
I am loving that variant Galactus. I really like the original, but the more I look at the darker color scheme the more I fall for it. The Sentinels look beyond awesome. So much good stuff coming out I can hardly believe it. MU line is knocking home runs all over the place.

I cant tell if Sentinel is as tall as Galactus. I hope they make a Master Mold variant!!
Nemesis*Prime:
Sentinels look excellent, they are a definite must have and I'll probably be picking up more then one on account that they'll be the first MU army builder I get.

I don't think they look quite as tall as Galactus, but I can't really tell either. I read somewhere, I think CTR, that next year's SDCC giant figure exclusive will be a Sentinel, so maybe it'll be Master Mold. Here's hoping.

I agree. I doubt any movie reveals tomorrow will top what's they've done so far. I'm pleasantly satisfied, even without any SHIELD car available

Can any one tell if Apocalypse and WWHulk are all new or are they Juggernaut body?

Can't tell the artic on Cyke's elbow, but the pointy finger seems to be on the other hand. Did they go with double joints this time?

Who's is this supposed to be? Scorpion?
thenameiuse:
The Apocalypse looks nearly identical to the Iron Man 2 Comic Series Iron Monger sculpt. Don't know for sure but looks awfully close.
TheSymbiote:

in the ultimate universe the scorpion is a clone of peter parker

Yeah I was surprised to see 1st appearance Wolverine use the XMO tiger stripe body....will probably get it if the paint apps are good though. Most of all, I hope the plastic is the more rigid kind used on MU. XMO plastic felt more rubbery.
Johnnyakiba:
Well don't cha think you could use the 2 pack Wolvie and the 1st app. Wolve and Kit bash them?

Just a thought.

The Target 2 pack? The body isn't in-scale. For what it's worth the X-Force franken-marvel Wolverine looks good in the 3 pack.
Snowflakian:
SWEET! That sentinel is rocking. That was the one I couldn't figure out. xD

Way too much awesome. THough I'm still saddened by no astonishing x-men wolverine.

Everything though, geez, so many to add to my must buy list. Definitely going to have to get both sentinels.
And so glad it's a new mold sentinel. Since I have the BAF one, I'll be glad to have some variety.
Kluster Bombs:
RC Walking Iron Man for the win!
Snowflakian:
I was double checking pics over at CTR, and they've got pics of the shield car, new black widow variant, and the new warpath from the 6 pack.

I gotta say hasbro, all of this is just, wow. I'll be broke for life now. xD

I don't think thats Warpath, I think its Thunderbird

Same difference.

Ones the brother, ones dead. Both tended to use the same costumes.

Warpath used the thunderbird costume in some of his first OG X-Force appearances.

Is the SHIELD car locked in btw?
Shin Densetsu:
That Sentinel mold is BEAST. GLAD we got one. I remember hints of one since last year at NYCC.

I am surprised not to see an ASX Wolverine.
scarecrow:
The Avengers "3 Pack" makes me really happy, particularly for the fourth and fifth figures included, Ant-Man and Wasp

Isnt That Awesome? You Could recreate the cover to Avengers #1 with that

we're getting a loki too
Shin Densetsu:
I REALLY hope the Gigantic Battles giant figures are not prone to breakage this time around. My Giant Man took FOREVER to get those hips to move, and even now they are a PITA to budge.
Shin Densetsu:
Hmmm...Legends not using Toy Biz molds. Here are some figures that Toy Biz made, but I think ought to have new sculpts:
  • 1st Appearance Wolverine-...Toy Biz sculpt had bad badly hindered shoulders
  • Modern Sabretooth- ML5 version had weird proportions
  • Scarlett Spider- This guy really needs an update
  • Spiderman 2099- Same reason as above..SMC wave 2 is very dated by now
  • Modular Iron Man- ML version was too short, had plain plastic look
  • ASX/Modern Wolverine- Something about the limbs and body proportions about the ML12 one
  • Archangel- Needed better wings and sculpted lines on costume instead of just painted
  • Jim Lee Cyclops- Too skinny

Has anyone taken any pictures of this that aren't so dark? I can barely make out the Hulk and he's the one I wanna see most.
ad1976:
Looks like another great year! The Hulk and Cyclops are must haves for me. Wondering when Marvel will pull out of the Iron man figures in the MU line, isn't the Iron Man 2 line enough?

If you look at the timescale, the wave with Heroic Iron Man will be around the time when the last wave of Iron Man 2 toys will be released so I think they want to make sure that some sort of Iron Man is on the shelves at all times.

Can't say I agree but I'm just glad we are getting a BE Iron Man
Deefuzz:
Agreed with Shin. Give us a new 6 inch 2099 Spidey!
Archaea:
I wish they'd do an Outback Era X-men pack. They already have 4 of the 8 available. We'd just need a Psylocke in armour or pink, Rogue in her black and green, Longshot, and Dazzler.

Maybe throw in a Jubilee to be safe.

We need one! The last one that came out(fully articulated), was released almost 10 years ago! If we get a new one, I want one with SCULPTED costume trim instead of just painted on(the red stripes...things...whatever).

Since it looks like 1st Appearance and X Force Wolvy both use an XMO body(the latter with the ASX boots/gloves), I have a feeling the ASX Wolvy will be released someway, somehow, next year with the masked tiger stripe head.

because they couldnt make them the same size as galactus because hes way bigger then the sentenials would be good if they were the same size as galactus but then they would have to make galactus the size of an average door for it to be in scale with mu
Shin Densetsu:
Not to be pessimistic, but I sincerely hope that the Sentinels' joints work well and are neither too tight, or too loose! I had to literally SHOVE A KNIFE INTO MY GIANT MAN figure from Gigantic Battles just to free up the hip joints!

That day, the hips could move freely, but I checked weeks afterwards, and they can barely budge! I had to return the 1st one I bought because the hips snapped right off.
Phantasm88:
Is no one else even a little disappointed that we didn't find out the status on the rest of the "What If" silhouettes? I was really looking forward to Northstar, and Star-lord et al.

They were said to be teasers but nothing more, later on. Though I should add, Curto has predicted many releases that turned out to be legit, some years in advance. That big AT AT that just came out was something he pointed out a few years back.

Yes, I need an aborigine figure with bola swinging action.

Does anyone know if the WW2 Captain America and Thor from the SDCC are going to retail or become more available at some point???

Most likely no...

Exclusive's rarely see re-releases.

BUT

You may see those parts later on in other retail release figures.

Those exact molds as they are at SDCC no...

But with both getting movie lines coming up, you may see new molds of em in those costumes.
