I'd rather a SDCC exclusive boxed set of Bedsick Sheldon w/Penny that has a voice box of her singing "Soft Kitty."
So yeah, I'd buy figures of them. Especially if they follow Jetty's ideas.

I wouldn't buy these. The show is decent, but why would I want figures of them? That is a little much in my opinion. They would be sold at Spencers for way too much and sit there for a decade before ever going on clearance.

There are soooo many possibilities for SDCC exclusives with this line. And so many of them are too cool to limit to that outlet. >_<

I read somewhere that 1 of the cast members I believe Leonard was asked about a toy line and said they couldn't get the rights to merchandise and likness rights from the station. I mean they got tshirts and other small trinkets, figures should be made, and the cast could go to cc for a big nerdy unvail, I'm not sure yet what scale I'd want them in, 3.75'' or 6''?

Oh, I'm sure we could come up with enough exclusives to cover just about every nationwide Comicon out there.

Yeah, I've only seen the bobbleheads of Howard and Sheldon. They seem pretty cool. I know there are a few new characters coming out soon, and there is supposed to be a small Sheldon figure that sits on the edge of your computer monitor. I don't think I've seen any other figures or anything, though.

The masses do love their bad TV shows, as evidenced by things like "Two and a Half Men" and reality tv. Troy and Abed are TV's best geeks and they don't shamelessly exploit geek culture.

Really hope it gets picked up another season. Also, loved seeing Ron Swanson in 21 Jump Street.

The Big Bang Theory is one of, if not the most popular sitcom on air right now, and it's especially popular with the geek crowd.
And seriously... WHY IS NO ONE MAKING BBT FIGURES YET?!? Neca? DC Direct? ANYONE? Why is this not a reality? A show where all the main cast are geeky toy collectors and comic book fans, and no one has tried to get the lisence to make figures yet? Come on DCD! Get this and you can chock them full of DC references! Wave 1- Leonard: Comes with a stack of comics, Tai Food container, and his traditional chair. Sheldon: Comes with a "Limited Edition Green Lantern lantern", Tai Food Container, and a piece to a C&C Sofa. Specifically, his spot. Penny: comes with a bag of Tai Food, and her traditional chair. Wave 2- Raj: Comes with clip on giant green fists (That can be worn by other figures, specifically Sheldon), a Tai Food container, and a piece to the C&C Sofa. Howard: Comes with a robotic arm, Tai Food Container, and the final C&C Sofa piece. Bernadette: Comes with the Coffee table Wave 3- Amy: Comes with Shelbot, Sheldon's remote controlled avatar Waitress Penny: Comes with serving tray, food items, and menus Priya Wave 4- The Enemies of Sheldon Barry Kripke: Comes with his fighting robot, the "Kwipke Kwippwuh" WHEATON!!!! Leslie Winkle SDCC Exclusive- Sheldon as The Flash (You must scream "ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM!" yourself) I don't know what accessories to put with the ones I didn't give any to. I think it would be fun to do more set pieces, maybe a chalkboard. We also need the following: Stewart - with clipboard, Xcalibur sword in stand and Comic book store counter. Brent Spiner - with drink glass and Wesley Crusher MOC figure. Stan Lee - with Spider-Man comic and restraining order. Leonard's Mom - with her book and traveling suitcase. Sheldon's Mom - with sugar cube DNA Helix and suitcase. Last edited by Prowl 2009; 03-24-2012 at 06:58 AM.. |

Wow! I would buy all of those! And I agree, someone has to get on to making BBT figures, ASAP!

And maybe, between Sheldon's Mom, and Leonard's mom, they could come with pieces of a C&C Hugging Machine, that Leonard once talk about building when he was little! MOAR PLEASE!

Only problem with a toyline like this is that licensing would cause these guys to be priced at a ridiculous amount, DC Marvel, who does Star Trek. I think as much of a fan of marvel as I am I could see sacrificing marvel stuff because they show way for DC stuff than the tidbits of Marvel

I love the idea, I would prefer them based in a DCU style figure over DCD myself. But I do like the idea of including props and set pieces
This should include all 4 dressed as the Flash, and they can all walk behind each other so it can look like one person going really fast! |
