Neither. I asked, and the clerk looked thru some of those plastic packing crates full of completely random crap. He found those 2 and no others. He said I was lucky, because he wasn't even putting them out, because there wasn't a spot for them on the sales floor.

I have a preorder for the Luke, Darth, Chewbacka wave through BBTS. Didn't realize Darth was out. Still looking for the 6" Anakin and Clone trooper. Checked out a couple of other Walgreens around on Saturday and didn't see anything, but will be a little more observant from now on. Last edited by nccollector; 09-01-2014 at 04:54 AM.. |

You should share this find with the folks over at Jedi Temple Archives (A Star Wars Toys & Collectibles Resource; News, Photos and Reviews for Collectors - JediTempleArchives.com).

Saw the Firefly, Back to the Future, and Escape from New York 80s-style ReAction figures at the TRU in Cary today, in addition to the Terminator figures they already had. They were putting out a large shipment of toys today and said they would have more tomorrow.

I'm not buying anything else (toys, not gas and food) until the toy show...so who's going to the Toy Show?

When's that Toy Show? I may have to bring the fam out.
I'm kinda on a toy fast, too. Trying to gain control of my 'gotta catch them all' mentality. Ask me how it's going when I find the new SW 6" figs, though. Need me a Vader! |

Checked both Cary Walgreens, one on Davis and the other on High House, they both had full cases of Venoms.
THAT WAS EASY! Just got one. Oh, I will be at the Toy Show in Raleigh in a couple of weeks, Falconhood |

Found me a Vader and Chewbacca at a local Walgreen's. I really like Vader. Playing with him as I watch football. Good Sunday!

Sadly I don't think I'll be at the Toy Show in Raleigh this month. It'll be the first one in several years that I've missed. |

BTW, saw a few of the Nightmare Before Christmas 3 3/4-inch 80s-style ReAction figures at the FYE at the Cary Mall on Friday. I know they had Jack Skellington and maybe one or two others but I can't remember now which ones. I also saw several of The Rocketeer at the Barnes & Noble in Cary.

Still no luck with Agent Venom in Durham. Hoping to find him before the week is up to get him for $15.

Actually I'll have a lot more Star Wars out as well. Mostly loose POTF2, POTJ and Ep I, including some more vehicles. I'm moving in a few weeks so as I unpack all my stuff into a new "toy room" I'll be making more decisions on items and even whole collections that I'm ready to sell.

Just saw the major reset at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. They have combined all of their Star Wars stuff (action figures, role play, LEGOs, PEZ, school supplies, etc.) into one new Star Wars area (including new store fixtures) with dedicated endcaps for Star Wars Rebels and The Black Series. They even had two new Black Series figures: Luke (Dagobah Training) and Yoda (Dagobah Training). Both of which I passed on. They also have a similar new area for Marvel and pretty much everything else has been shifted around and reset as well. They also had more 50th Anniversary GI Joe stuff out as well (more Battle Below Zero sets and more Blowtorch vs. HEAT Viper 2-packs).

Hi all! I haven't posted here in a while. Thanks to your reports, I stopped by my local Walgreens in Belmont, NC (near Gastonia/Mt. Holly) and found Agent Venom. It was nice to get him on sale, too. They had an end cap with several. They had no Star Wars Black series figures (yet?).
If you're into Transformers, they had some older cyberverse and Beast Hunter figures. They also have wave 3 Kreo Micro-changers.

No, no figures and no vehicles. Just some of the other stuff in Rebels packaging (role play, etc.). And all that Command stuff. But the space seems to be set aside and ready for Rebels product when it hits.
I think the only Rebels piece I'm interested in personally is the Rebel ship. That looks like a cool (and unique) vehicle. Otherwise the whole line breaks my rule of no animated series stuff. |

I was at the Walgreens in Fuquay today (the one at the corner of Main and Sunset Lake) and they had the 6-inch Star Wars Sandtrooper with black shoulder patch in stock.
