The Breaking Bad ReAction figures are hilariously tacky. I'll definitely be grabbing a "Let's Cook" Jesse

That walter white in underpants made me giggle.
The face sculpts on the Firefly figures are really well done too. Not super into that show, but do appreciate that. |

I wish I was into Firefly enough to want those figures. They look about as good as you can get for the scale. Combine those with the Rocketeer, and I think they're heading in the right "quality" direction with Legacy. Now they just need to procure a license I really want to get into for Legacy.

I cannot wait for the Firefly figures. I hope by now Funko has reigned in their QC problems. I have a hop-along Tyrion, leg falls off due to warped peg- and that is tough on a dwarf. And I have a Daenerys that is left handed since the paint dried on the clear joint of her elbow and snapped as soon as she was removed from the package. The John show was fine but that is 2 out of three bad eggs.

As a pretty dedicated Browncoat, those Firefly figures are my most anticipated figure purchase of 2015 !
These figures are a dream come true for me . Prior to Funko procuring the license, the Firefly/Serenity franchise has only had a handful of action figures, and those figures definitely weren't Diamond Select's best work. And, they sell for ridiculous prices on the secondary market. I'm thrilled that these sculpts turned out so well. I was especially nervous that the Kaylee figure would end up being this line's "slave Leia", and have a horrifically inaccurate facial sculpt, but these early pics have alleviated my fear.

Not usually into the reaction stuff but defiantly need the accessories for a dio. Plus that crazy super gun could end up being the weapon of choice for my hydra squad. Wonder if the stones are diff with each figure or is there no difference. Those fire fly figs look pretty sweet. Wish they had mad a few reavers or blue glove guys too?

I have been wanting Firefly/Serenity figures for a long time. I'm glad they are going to be in 6 inch scale too. I think these pictures are obviously PhotoShopped though and I hope the actual figures look half as good as they do here. I have picked up a few Funko Legacy figures to use for customs and the QC hasn't been the best, but hopefully they will have worked out some of the kinks by the time these guys make it to the shelves. Also, I hope they sell well enough to get a second wave with River, Simon, Book and Inara. The best part is that my girlfriend loves Firefly too, so she definitely won't mind having these figures on display outside of my toy room!

the Rocketeer is my most wanted figure right now, but I wil be picking up sme of the Serenity crew. As for ReAction, I'm most excited about the Jaws figures, I want to see them carded and the box for the shark.

The Predator license is currently held by NECA. They've wanted to do other team members, but Fox didn't secure actor likeness rights for each actor, so the cost to license each member becomes prohibitive. They're are releasing a Commando John Matrix though.
Sons of Anarchy is currently at Mezco. Other than Game of Thrones, the Legacy series has been mostly ultra niche stuff that's just sitting on shelves at specialty stores. Firefly may be a bit of a seller, but I have a feeling they'll be over produced and wind up sitting eventually. For Legacy to be as successful as it can be, they need to grab some type of wider audience (or bigger cult) license.

Sometimes licensing contracts are very specific about what the company is allowed to make. For instance: NECA has the rights to make quarter-scale figures of DC and Marvel stuff but aren't allowed to do actual 7" figures, the '89 Batman they just did with the blu-ray was a very rare loophole they were able to take advantage of. Funko likely only has the ability to make the pop vinyls with so many licenses because most companies don't have any thing to lose from that specific competition.
