I think you’re forgetting who Bruce Wayne is. He is one of the most bad ass super heroes of all time. There’s a reason everyone fears him. Even all the other members of the Justice League are wary of him and they all have super powers. He doesn’t. He’s the smartest man in the room and he’s always steps ahead of everyone. He has contingencies to his contingencies. His strength is and always has been his mind. No one is more driven than Bruce. He overcomes obstacles many others could not. No matter his age that is who he is and will always be. Comparing a mid 50’s Bruce Wayne to a mid 80’s Clint Eastwood is ridiculous. It’s apples to oranges. You’re entitled to your opinion but so am I. So I guess we agree to disagree. I love what Mezco has done here. I agree with Bag Jo. The fact he’s still kicking ass as an older man makes him even more bad ass in my eyes.

Sorry, but the face and mouth don't look 50's... maybe Rolling Stones in their 50's, but not typical 50's. He looks mid- to late 60's at least. I'm not slighting the character's mind. I'm commenting on a TOY, from a toy company, that IMHO made Bruce Wayne look like he's in his mid- to late 60's, not 45 to 55, which would be on the upper end for being Batman. Yes, I realize he's obsessed, and all, but with all the damage his body has taken over the decades, the calcification, etc, 55+ is not likely, realistically, for someone in that condition. He's got more in common with boxers and defensive football players than a private investigator.

Love this. The unmasked head sculpt is closest yet to Future Batman in DC Universe Online and Alex Ross's definitive Gregory Peck stylization in Kingdom Come.
This puts the old DKR figures to shame, IMHO -- especially if they do colored variants. I'm in like Flynn. Last edited by Skoob; 08-31-2019 at 12:19 PM.. |
