I JUST bought the Justice League Tactical Batman. Hope I didn't jump the batshark.

I wish there were more pics of him- if he's like the Onyx Sovereign Knight it's an easy pass- that is the least favorite version of him that I have... love all the others though.

Might be biased, but I think the Tactical one is the best looking one so far because it has the armour plated looking parts that keep the clothing in place whole adding some interesting ‘variety’ to what might otherwise be a monotone body suit. Plus, it’s pretty accurate to the movie (though I didn’t care much for it).

I just pre-ordered Supreme Knight. I'm really loving the way he looks, and the old Bruce head is perfection. The short eared cowl is great, the armored look to the suit, this is probably the best looking Mezco Batman so far.

Pre-ordered! Great looking figure! Awesome accessories! Love the dual capes! If Mezco follows suit (and I’m sure they will) there will be a black MDE version and a blue and gray PX version. I will be picking those up as well. I can’t wait to get this figure!

I wonder what they two interchangeable capes deal is. Is one supposed to be battle damaged, or will one have a wire in it?

I love a lot of this for what it's supposed to be, but the black belt instead of the normal gold/bronze/yellow/etc. is turning me off. IMO, most Batman costumes that aren't a complete departure from the norm (like Batman Beyond is) need at least the gold/bronze/yellow belt even if all else is grey or black, just to have that little bit of color breaking things up. The black belt just makes it overwhelmingly monotone.

Taking a closer look... They should definitely tone down the gray on the Bruce Wayne head. I know what they're going for, but that's just WAY too old. Almost even decrepit.

I really like it. Looks like a mash up of New 52 or Arkham games with DKR. Chunky and squared off, I'm actually a fan of how grey they went but do wish there was a transition head somewhere that was grey/white temples. Really it's the belt that's my only sticking point. A burnished bronze or brass color would be my preference, especially with how chunky it is.
Also this just makes me wish they'd return to their DKR line, give us an unmasked head and joker. |

I’m surprised by all the bias against the elderly on this forum. Aging is a fact of life. We all will be older someday and there’s nothing wrong with that. The description for this figure states that it is an older, wiser Batman at the end of his career. I think Mezco has captured that perfectly. They wanted to show an evolution of Batman from the beginning to the end of his career with this series. Again I think Mezco did a great job. I love the look of this figure. I turned gray in my 30’s so I’m not sure what”too much gray” is. I think the real issue is that some of you have no respect for your elders. Shame on you for that.

Amen Grant, well said.
To me, that's what's cool about this Batman. He won't rest, he can't just give up being Batman. He'll never stop fighting crime, even when he's "old and gray" and that makes him that much more bad ass in my eyes. Being older and having gray hair doesn't mean weak and tired. |

Yeah, I'm sure one of the variants will have a yellow/gold/etc. belt, but it still just doesn't feel right for the normal one not to have it, and I don't wanna have to buy two of the variant just to get a yellow/gold/etc. belt for the normal version. I might be more likely to grab the normal version if I can find someone selling the belt of whichever variant's gonna get the gold/yellow/etc. belt on ebay by the time it comes out. I like how they've released a bunch of iterations of Batman throughout his crime fighting career. I agree with others here that the unmasked head is slightly too old looking but not a deal breaker. As is the color of the belt not being gold/bronze.
For me, my biggest gripe is the lack of shoulder pads. I find the bulky shin/forearm guards look more bulky without shoulder pads. Shoulder pads would give it more of an armored look from the Arkham games. Something about the outfit for me seems off and I think its the lack of shoulder pads. |

This looks more like current Clint Eastwood or Robert Redford as Batman. He just looks TOO old. Nothing wrong with aging, but there is nothing right about swinging in to a crime scene and breaking a hip on your landing, and having to return to the batcave at 3pm to get ready for a 4pm dinner date.

The issue isn't the gray for me. It's the face sculpt. It's too old. Many of the actors in the MCU are in or approaching their late 40's or 50's. You can look youthful in that age range. Affleck was 45 in Justice League, and they just lightly peppered his temples. His Bruce Wayne looked like he was good for a few more years as Batman.
