What do you guys think that the action figure community needs the most?
I.E. Checklists, Price List, Forums, etc.

No price lists, that just encourages scalpers, I would say let them do their own research at least they are doing some of the leg work there, otherwise they will go by whatever the prrice guide tells them. On second thought, price guides with retail pricing and maybe shipping fees would be legit lol

actually shipping rates would make everyones life easier. You know? XX(weight) times price. I just say eff it and include prices with shipping. I'll worry about that nonsense

Knowing international shipping rates would be a good idea though. I think there is even a thread somewhere about shipping stuff.

I don't know if this exists or not, but there should be an "ebay deal that's hard to pass" thread. We all go on ebay or amazon or some random site from time to time and see either a sale, clearance, or in the case of ebay rare/awesome figures going for less then retail/collector prices. But a lot of the time we don't have funds ourself to purchase said items, would be nice to have arkers post sightings and then fellow arkers can buy it. Helps us out, and chances are if arkers have the items posted they will chime in with their 2 cents and will promote more buying/trading. Especially with bulk lots where you only want 1-2 figures, post it and other arkers may chip in to split it.

Found it, if there is any questions to ask, or answers you have about shipping could go there.

Its bad enough that Washington state has not even seen Wave 18 or 19 but now most Walmarts near me aren't carrying MU. I love being a part of thae Ark because we all look out for each other but even then, if I'm not on the forums early enough, I miss out here too. Just tryin to spend my money is all.

ya, I too agree that pricing list might instill scalpers to fuck us over, but in the long run it also helps us collectors get what we are looking for. As far as this site, we need a MOBILE site, not the type of site one can see in a DROID/APPLE phone but in any phone. I am always on the look out for new figures being placed on the shleves everytime I work and sometimes I see items that I know you all would want/need but it's hard for me to snap a pic and then post it here since my phone's [LG Beacon] wap interface won't allow for me to even view THE TOYARK and believe me when I say that sometimes I find sh*t on clearance and or recently placed up that most of you would drool over.
About the only person I stay in touch is with sug2763, every time there's a new MU figure or if I see something that he might want I'll send him a txtpic. And I'd like to extend that kind service to all of you since we are here to not only showcase our collections, appreciations, but to help one another out!!..... So yeah a WAP web page TOYARK site for regular non DROID/APPLE phones would surely help our growing community!!

Sing it with me. . .
What the ark. . .needs now. . .is love. . .sweet love. . . it's the only thing that matters. . . Whoa, sorry, I'm sleep deprived. Anyway, maybe this is on here somewhere but I don't know how to find it -- I'd like to be able to find arkers who might live in the area. I would have liked to find someone local to team up with to get two Club Infinite Earths subscriptions and save $$ on shipping. But I don't know of anyone local. There was a 'Tanker that lived here, but he's moved -- I think to England!

I wish we had the ability to purchase new figures directly from the company that produces them. I'd be a happy man if I could snag a VC Galen Marek and the upcoming ML Deadpool variant from Hasbro so I wouldn't have to worry about looking for a good deal or running into empty pegs because of scalpers.

But at least coffee shop wi-fi is still free, coffee is needed when figure hunting and I do have an iPod. So you may still have me join the "mobile arking".

Well here in good old Canada we have 2-3 cell providers. That means no competition. And you know what happens when you have no competition? You pay almost the same prices per month for a basic talk only with a flip phone on a 3 year contract that you USA people pay for the whole talk-text-data on a smartphone! It is one of the worst things here! So yeah, no sending pics and finds to you guys from the store.
But at least coffee shop wi-fi is still free, coffee is needed when figure hunting and I do have an iPod. So you may still have me join the "mobile arking". But now all I have to do is just take pic, wait to get home, Blue tooth it to my mac, then upload it here....if and when ever I get the chance to be in front of my mac to let you guys know of new finds and all...

And I'd like to see all the toy retailers the industry-wide discontinue use of the POS ordering system. As for ways to improve Toyark, we have a thread for that... http://www.toyark.com/make-toyark-be...on-thread-400/
