Finally got the new wave. Traveled all across CA to find them plus the ones I ordered from hasbrotoyshop.
First up we got Lizard. Overall a decent show piece to add to the Spiderman villains. Although you can't tell from the pics but the color of his lab coat is a dirty white. If only he had the new neck articulation. His size is huge, like a bruiser. Next up Scorpion. I think I'm going to re-paint it to make more of a metallic green. Beware of the tail, my roommate almost shot his eye out, lol. His tail does offer a good amount of articulation I wanted to add this in because I feel the dark spiderman doesn't get much praise The Villains |

Next up Gladiator. Ever since they announced him I wanted to re-create the scene from the 90s X-Men cartoon vs Juggernaut
Gladiator vs Dark Phoenix Cyclops is all kinds of awesome. Articulation is close to bleeding edge armor iron man. Now he can go with the other 90s X-Men Jean Grey/ The Phoenix Old Skool Things to do with Cyk |

Comic pack Silver Samurai. SS is awesome. The Wolverine sucks. He doesn't even have arm swivels and the head mold sucks. The bright side was that his hands are closed and work out great with other wolverines

Doc Ock is a custom I found the recipe for from another member on this site. I really liked the movie version and decided to use that paint scheme vs the comic version. Base is from rise of cobra cobra commander. Tentacles and head is from the spiderman line. The best thing about this custom us that the tentacles are posable.

Some more images of my custom Doc Ock
I liked how the movie version made the tentacles seem like they were alive so I took this one to best depict it Last edited by Symbiote; 04-29-2011 at 04:31 PM.. |

Love your collection, customs, displays and pics, great work. That hampster ball is a nice touch, something I would never of thought of, and your bamfing Human torch is sick, I like your Domino, I'm running out of room myself.. I demoted some of my figures to storage to focus on my Marvel collection, I need to get some Apex display stands and some extra bases. Those giant flight stands did you make them or buy them? if bought where from?

If you are looking for flight stands, I got them at hobby links japan. Multi Stand Clear They are a bit pricey. I bought 5 of them for 25 bucks total (w/ shipping and handling). These are great stands and I highly suggest using them for your collection. They come with different size clasps and heights. I'm actually thinking of getting some more. If only they made stands for the big figures. My BAF apocalyse keeps falling down. |

Black panther is just a repaint. I didn't like the original paint used in the target two pack. Before and after pics are in this link Custom Re-paints Transformers and MU - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com |

X-Men surrounded
Changed Jean Grey's hair. I always remembered her with a ponytail from the 90 cartoon series. Dark Avengers vs. X-Men Winter Soldier sniping Ultron taking over all Iron man suits (I loved the EMH story they did on Ultron. I wanted to redo something with the avengers caught fighting in the hall of armor look) Tony Stark forced to use the Mark I This shield actually does makes sense for an Iron Captain America Bucky Cap vs. Iron Captain America Black Panther vs. Iron Black Panther Spider-man vs. Iron Spider Vision vs. Evil Mark II Even Deadpool gets his own suit |

I agree, very well done customs, nicely taken pictures and great thought and detail goes not only into setting the display up but also making it look cool, Loving the double display you got, aside out of running low on $$ to buy all the new goodies, I'm slowly outgrowing my display case and appt with toys, considering moving and possibly buying a bigger display case soon.

Thanks mask and uberlad. I was in that position a couple of months ago. I was outgrowing the display I currently had and needed something new. I went furniture shopping one day for a new dining table and was looking for a new entertainment center knowing very well that it HAD to accommodate at least 3 of the new sentinels. It's going to be epic.
