Well, we have plenty of topics on the different things at NYCC this year, and NYCC is still in full swing, but what are your impressions so far of the con as a whole?
Of course, come back once it's over and see how your opinion may have changed or been cemented. |

Hasbro's displays= underwhelming aside from Kre-O. No 4" figures at all? Le sigh.

Overall, this year's NYCC for me feels very boring.
Not even just the lack of the hasbro presence either. All the displays shown so far, and all the stuff talked about scattered across the sites is just Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm calling it now, but outside of a handful of things like the TF Prime panel right now and GI Joe Kre-Os, this NYCC feels lame. Glad I didn't go afterall. =D So for me, I'm loving just how "bad" this year's NYCC is. It's 2012 though. You'd think this would be the geek nirvana year. But maybe we already splurged on those geek forays with 2005 and 2010. ------------- Okay scratch that. Omega Supreme may have stolen the show entirely and just salvaged all of NYCC in my eyes. The new TFP Wheeljack sharing some design cues with his FOC version isn't hurting either. Last edited by Snowflakian; 10-11-2012 at 02:08 PM.. |
