Today was our first time at DCC and it was pretty cool. The phone reception sucked major ass though and the lighting screwed up some of my pictures. However, it was organized and did not seem overly crowed at times. The autographs area was awesome and nearly everyone I got autographs from was pretty nice. The voice actors for Pink and Brain were freaking fantastic and Jimmy Palmiotti drew an awesome Jonah Hex sketch for me in my book.

Great shots! I've never attended one of these things, but it seems like there was a good turnout. Some of the costumes are hilarious. Would love to get some original autographs and sketches someday.
You're generally expected to purchase books, prints and sketches on-site, yes? Otherwise, I could easily imagine someone showing up with boxes of old stuff from their collection, expecting to get the whole shebang signed. Last edited by Skoob; 05-25-2015 at 11:17 AM.. |

I had also brought in some books to get Tim Sale to sign, but we left before he was willing to do autographs.

I experienced a similar disappointment, riding the ferry and bus for six hours + $250.00 to see William Shatner in Vancouver a few years ago only to get turned away as he decided to leave early. Maybe it's silly, but after all this time, it still sticks in my mind like a thorn.
Palmiotti and Ponsor are great. Glad things worked out so well. Rgds |
