Hello everyone I'm new to the boards! I love action figures and I collect many different lines such as GIJOE, Nintendo figures, Kenner Terminator, Marvel, Lego and more! I also love vintage toys. One of my vintage collecting passions is plastic army men! Here is some of the best pics of my collection.

I don't have any vintage. But I have seen some cool ones in the store now that look like fun. Something like Zombies, pirates, army men all in tubes for $5 or so...

Like these!
Found these at Target on friday but I didnt buy them. Kept thinking about them till today. They enticed me because of their nostalgic feel. They reminded me of monsters in my pocket. While the Soldier molds arent great, the monsters are cool. Came with 8 of each mold, 96 figures total. They also had a Ninja vs. Robot tube. Monster Vs. Wow! I thought I had a lot of army men. My favorite is actually the gunman from the 1960s James Bond 007 Scalextric race set. Sorry, no pics on me at the moment.

Those are cool! I will have to check Target, as I have been looking for them lately and can only find cheaper ones at Walmart now. Ones that look like they are using about half the plastic as those. I shouldn't have passed them up when I saw them before...

Most of these army men were bought in the past year. A few VERY lucky thrift store finds, a few eBay and website buys, and two very awesome online forum trades.
As for the target ones, they are usually on the toy endcap facing the baby stuff. |

I just found the Target ones yesterday, same as you pictured above. Thanks for the tip! There was actually a different company that made some as well, Imperial I believe. Which had Zombies vs Zombie Responders. Though they were just basic green army men. These ones I have now look to be a lot cooler. There was another container there of Robots v Ninjas. I left it for the time being, but might go back and snag it

Hey Defzombie This is cool! How can you manage to collect so many. I am not an avid collector but are sure to inspire me to collect more of these. You have a huge collection.

Been quite a dry spell lately with everything including plastic army soldiers, but this last Tuesday at the thrift store I hit the jackpot! Not as big as my score last year that the same thrift store but still awesome. Several bags of vintage, army men, cowboys and so forth. All for $15

UPDATE!
I have plenty of finds to add to this thread, but I start with my most recent finds. Zombies at War. They're army men AND they are zombies! Got these from Amazon. Galaxy Laser Team/Space Patrol (Tim Mee Recasts) Love the small ones I had, so naturally I had to get these recent recasts. Also from Amazon. Modern Elite Force Bucket of Army Men from Target. These are hard to find. They are similar to old Tim Mee poses, but most are original. They look like modern soldiers with modern weapons. Tan Soldiers Green Soldiers A sweet Helicopter, F-16 Jet, Abrams tanks and more. Got some SOMA 1987 military figures from eBay. These are rubber.
