Returning to my first ever post here. I was recommended some stands for PAK figures. Bandai's tamashi stage act.5 for mechanics, to be exact. The "for mechanics" version has a thicker arm to hold that weight. They're easy to put together. But the large grabbing claws can't get a good grip around the waist of most PAK male figures (like cyborg ninja) but you get 3 stands in a box, so I used a extra joint and extention piece and the claw holds ninja around the neck very securely.

For anyone interested in the new Lara Croft. She comes with the deluxe edition of the game. She'll be my first PAK figure!

Jesus, personally I don't own any PAK figures but have always wanted to pick up a couple. From the sound of some of these posts I might give it a miss.

It's why it's best to check out reviews and places like here to see if a specific figure has issues. And even then, if you can buy it in person mores the better because you can check nothing is missing or broken in the box

The bad thing is that if you buy it in person, some stores(like some comic shops, not sure if all), don't do refunds for toys.

Really? In the UK it's law to refund, no matter what kind of store. I guess you just have to take a gamble with PAK figures. But seeing newer figs like Robin they seem to be easing up on the over shading and a couple of figs come with a stand now. So it's a step in the right direction

It really is a gamble to get a PAK figure. I think it's mainly due to the predominantly PVC construction. This is one reason I basically stopped collecting Revoltech figures. With PAK you couple soft plastic with factory workers who sometimes don't realize they are putting the wrong limbs together or putting them on before the paint dries, which coupled with PVC, makes breakage all the more likely due to stuck joints. I think for future PAK figures, after doing a visual inspection to make sure the right parts are there I might just shove the entire box with figure in the freezer for a half hour to hopefully get rid of stuck joints. The other alternative is using a hair dryer to hopefully destroy the paint seals.

Hi i'm new here, i'd like to start an action figure collection and i really enjoy play arts kai stuff. I already preordered the upcoming Raiden and i bought from a famous online retailer (is that a problem to write the name?) the peace walker sneaking suit big boss. The price was good (60€) considering the figure should be out of stock so i'm afraid it could be a bootleg. Is there a way to check the figure and be 100% it's original?

Thanks i actually had a look on the web and found nothing but the "angels and summer" blog. It seems the battle dress big boss has been bootlegged but nothing about the infiltration suit version. I'll check the box and maybe i'll upload some photos to have further confirmation. I bought it form a french retailer, he has quite a good positive score.
You know maybe it's just me, this is the first action figure i buy and i'm afraid to waste money on something not worth it |

FemShep looks WAY better than BroShep. BroShep looks like he chose synthesis with a chimney headfirst.

I got my first PAK figures the day before yesterday. Gray Fox and Solidus Snake. OMG what took me so long to get into these. I'm hoping they re-release Solid (Dave) Snake. I hate playing expensive catch-up games.
On another note Solidus' long sword's handle broke. I dropped the scabbards about 3½ ft to the floor. Fawk. This will be a delicate super-glue procedure. I would love if I could get MGR and the PAK Raiden this way!!
