H. B. Halicki wrote, directed and stared in Gone in 60 Seconds in 1974. He made the movie on a shoestring budget and made a fortune off of it. He had a guy who worked for him whose sole job was to go to a flea market in California every Sunday and "buy every toy worth buying." When he died doing a stunt for the sequel, it took them 3 1/2 aircraft hangers to lay out and auction off his toy collection.
CCC. So, since I recently got into Stranger Things, I suddenly have an actual reason to buy one of those cool real working arcade games. Before I could not picture any of my figures wanting to play that, but this has changed now. I have checked before but there are so many different brands and sizes that I got lost a bit. Which one would you guys recommend for kids figures that are about 6" high? I never have played an arcade game myself so I have no idea how high they should be compared. So I never dared to pull the trigger as I feared I might end up with one too small or too big, and they are too expensive for that. If you please could link me to one in a fitting size that I actually can buy online (as opposite to only available at Target or something) that would be highly appreciated. Thank you! |

I can't give you anything specific for 6". I recently discovered that the distance from the knuckle f my thumb to the tip is the same distance as the lower leg of a 4" figure, useful information in my search for scale chairs since I don't tend to carry a figure with me everywhere I go. Find a scale for what you are looking for that you will have with you. Also, there are papercraft games you can print out on line. Bad news is they mostly print 4" scale so you would have to make modifications (which I know you can).

I don't really have a local comic or toys shop for buying such specific things though. I had wanted to order the Arcade games from America. |

Yet again the X-Men have destroyed the Mansion, leaving the junior team of New Mutants without a place to train in the use of their powers. Fortunately, the Professor's good friend Moira MacTaggert was able to locate a suitable alternate location in Scotland which was available for the summer with a facility they could train in.

There's also the Harry Potter "Common Room" playset which has a very similar design with a few differences. (The fireplace is in the center portion, for example, and the wallpaper and "carpets" are different.)

Tonight I saw a World Peacekeepers playset I have never seen before at Kroger. It was the only WP item I saw.

My small Space Base from Readysetz came in today. It is a bit stiff, having a hard time getting it to sit flat so that the figures will stand up right. Looks good, still experimenting with it and waiting for the big version to arrive.

Okay, cool, it's not just mine, then. I'm trying to flatten mine out by leaving an old PS1 and a bin of Vitruvian HACKS pieces.
Wish it fit 4" figures better, though. |

I've ordered some of the DC Primal toys for my son for Christmas. I want to get him the Batcave as well.
