Sad thing is, in the sequel, the Aliens think they are clever and use Blackberry technology instead of Apple... only to find it incompatible with earth technology.

The movie was so-so, a decent popcorn muncher though it didn't quite have the soul of the original. Did have some great references to the original's war of the worlds inspiration draws, but the one thing it did do right was the alien and ship designs. That toy line should have gone through. There was some amazing potential there. Especially if it had a mega bloks line with the alien human hybridized tech, but oh well. May have been one of those rare blockbusters where the movie doesn't do great at the box office, but the toy line sells really well.
Theses statues really show how iconic looking those designs are. Fantastic work! |

Still haven't seen this.. Wonder if it's worth renting or if I should just wait for HBO/Cinemax/starz to air it.. Or FX.

My grandpa bought it the other day so I'll probably watch it with him but I'm not fan of the first movie and I doubt I'll enjoy this one.

No way I'm giving them 1K for a failed movie license.

Seriously, the box office of the sequel makes it very clear no one gives a shit about ID4: Resurgence. These statues - especially at their bloated prices - will probably end up in a landfill somewhere next to old ET Atari 2600 carts.
