Wow. These guys are nailing it recently. If it's anything like the TF ones it's gonna be hella expensive tho.

Yeah, expecting these to hit $900 - $1,000 each. For what they are, Raph looks great.

As cool as it is to see something for this movie that isn't Playmates, there is no way I'll be able to afford one of these. Still, cool for those out there who can. Hopefully this is a sign that maybe some other compamies out there who know how to handle collector oriented merch can get the licensing.

Their products are amazing, I just wish they did the 90s movie turtles or even the comic turtles, instead of this iteration.

this looks great.
at some point though, i REALLY hope that some company out there releases articulated versions of these turtles. i actually do enjoy the designs.. sure, they could look a little better, but i still like them. the playmates figures are just bad. the lack of any real paint detailing, no ankle articulation, no wrist articulation.. i mean, these are NINJA turtles, not static turtles. i just want ones that i can pose nicely. |

They're no worse than the current cartoon versions. I've got the movie Raph and the only thing he's missing from the animated counterpart is wrist articulation and the head's a little more limited.
That said if someone pumped out Joe/MU style Ninja Turtles I'd be all over them. |

From what I've seen of reviews, the articulation of most of the movie figures isn't bad. April being the only big exception. That said, I can't get past the lazy sculpting. I get that they're meant for kids, but when they're the only oprtion, what is a collector to do?
I'm really hoping someone like NECA get's licensing to do either 6-7" scaled figures, or 1/6th scaled ones. I'd even take some Collector Collection figures from Playmates, like the OT and movie Turtles they've done. Just something that doesn't look like a dollar store knock-off like Playmates's current offerings.

April and the disguised Raph (which I don't recall even being in the movie despite the set photos) are the only ones that look to be lacking in the articulation department. Sculpts seem fine to me (bear in mind that Raph is the only one I have and I've changed him up quit a bit) they're just super bland looking because the paint apps are super basic on so many levels. But for eight bucks I'm not overly upset about it.
I've been tempted to pick up Leo since the moment I walked out of the theater last Saturday but what money I have atm I've got plans for over the next few months. |

I love "The Turtles" and Raph is my favorite. I was lucky enough to land the Exclusive version of the Sideshow Maquette Raphael when it first came out, but I couldn't get the other Turtles. I will be buying all four of these though. Looks amazing!
