MU packs at Walmart
 

Looked around and didn't see this but I could be mistaken. I have found at a couple Walmarts here in Winchester VA, and understand in other parts of VA that have 8 packs of left over Thor, IM2 and Cap figures on a an 8 figure set. I am not sure the price but one of my friends told me they were about $25 which doesn't mean much but I saw three variants of sets. One had a bunch of junk on it, one had Destroyer on it and the last had Green Mandarin and Red Skull on it with a Hydra trooper. No I don't have pics but they are two rows of four and the card is about 2 1/2 ft long. It wasn't in the action figure section but more where the bulk large toys are.

I looked today but didn't know where to find them. Then again my Wal-Mart sucks a big fat one and probably never had them to begin with.

they were packaged like that for black friday. I only saw SW ones at my local WM.

The ones I saw were mixed in with the SW figs and they are not in the main fig aisle. Check the big bulk stuff.

My Walmart must have got the sucky selection of 8 packs for Black Friday because none of them had any of the IM2 Mandarin/Ultimate IM/Cyborg War Machine wave and I've seen some 8 packs on the internet with all 3. A lot of the 8 packs I saw did have most of Thor's HTF friends though all in the same 8 pack too (except Sif, had the other 3 dudes though). And then the other 8 packs had the IM2 blue Comic Monger/Hulk Buster waves in them.

Even with the SW 8 packs it was mostly full of the CW wave 1 or 2 blue cards full of Obis, Anakins, Plo Koons and Mace Windus... none of the later wave 8 packs that I see pics on the internet that some scored. But at my Walmart the SW 8 packs were only $20... five bucks cheaper than the Marvel 8 packs.

I got a volstag from the thor line in my 8 pack, I don't want if anyone is interested pm me.

Went back to Wal-mart yesterday and all the 8-packs were gone (there were 10 of them on Friday) and they had moved the last 3 star wars packs over to the clearance aisle...but they were still $25 bucks...lol

I wish I had found the freaking Mandarin though! I'm happy I did get Blue Iron Monger finally, but Mandarin would have just made my day. :)

No one must of cared about these at my WM. Just checked today and there where like 15-20 of them. Not one had Mandarin though. Would of bought one but I already had almost all of them in the packs they were offering.

I tried looking today, and found a lonely Hulkbuster hangin on the peg with the 'Not For Resale' sticker where the UPC is.

After about a half hour of trying to find the toy dept manager, she said she couldn't sell it to me individually but could give it to me for free if I bought the shitty Star Wars cartoon pack of eight for $25.

You think they'd be quick to make a sale.... I ended up paying $25 bucks for 9 figures.. Not bad I guess.

I ended up seeing if I could return the Star Wars pack of eight and sure enough, I got my money back.

Went to my local Wal-Mart and saw 8-packs, 6 were SW and 2 1/2 MU...reason I say 2 1/2 is because someone plucked a couple from one of the original 8-packs! Long story, short...clerk let me fill the 8-pack with what was theft over from the theft! Well, not all went bad...most of the cards that the figs are damaged, but luck out and made this combo...happy hunting for those 8-packs, Arkers!

Picked up a couple of these, I am really happy with the card shape and figure shape of the ones I found!

There is the pack I found on Thanksgiving evening. I had given up all hope of ever getting that Ultimate IM (at a reasonable price) and was shocked to find a pack that had him, Whiplash, and War Machine together. In fact, Volstagg is the only one in this pack that I already had. One of my better toy hunts.
