I bought this at TRU a few years ago. I wish 21st century toys made more figures based on real people from history (in this scale) but I could not find anymore.

DUDE! You need to have that head cast so we can all have a Patton- hell, I'd make you a better body for him.
That's crazy cool....now I gotta go searching for a 1:18th fig of the baddest President ever- Teddy Rooseveldt! A President so awesome that, in the middle of his term, decides to go camping for a couple of weeks with John Muir- telling everyone to just hold their water till he gets back. Upon returning, he just..declares...millions of acres to be the first National Parks. "cause who was going to tell a guy that awesome that it was crazy and probably illegal and...forget it. He'd have ripped them in two like The Sentry. Go to any National park, look around and say "Yeah, he was a badass". You'd think the Messiah would have better articulation...waist swivel and rocker ankles at least! And what's with that mullett?!? Next thing you know, he'll have a NASCAR hat and Mountain Dew can...maybe chewing some Skoal. Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 02-18-2012 at 10:27 PM.. |

Looks like he is a custom from one of the pirates of the Carribean (sp) movie figures and if you shine the light from the barrel on his face it looks like a skeleton

Here's a little historical fact: I am related to a former U.S. President (but not one from this century or the last).

I think it'd be more fun to have you all guess. Here's another hint: he only served one term.
Nope.

what are you talking about.....
edit: jsut realized wrong century, another possible answer is John Adams, who served at the very end of the 1700's and a little into the 1800's Last edited by bmorr; 02-20-2012 at 12:10 PM.. |

Well, I was just breaking your balls, but just a couple of posts up I asked if the Pres in question's name began with a J. That answer was no.

Eh, i just that I'm in college right now, and i haven't taken U.S history since high school. Needless to say they weren't very in depth. It is a shame though ALOT or most kids these days aren't into history, they just don't care. If any of you Arkers here have kids or are planning to, buy them some history books, or persuade them to do some research on their own.

Not John or his son. No "J" names. Also, I said not this century (21st) or the last (20th).

ohhh, well that opens up the potential candidates.
now, are we excluding the ones that died/and or assassinated while in office? cause there were a few of them. but, since were excluding prez' with j's, the odds are your related to one from the 19th century. ironically, happy presidents day! |

Im going to say Franklin Pierce.
I think the patton figures might still be available at smalljoes.com. Im suprised no one has done a line of presidential or historical figures. Although there may have been a Grant figure in the Lone Ranger line. This of course refers to 3.75 inch. I know they've done a lot of 12 inch figures.. |
