That looks AWESOME, Mattel can learn a thing or 2 from NECA about how to sculpt an Adam West Batman.

figure looks good, but i have no interest in this figure and would much prefer a newer batman
i have doubts in the posability, and lets not forget it wont be able to stand up on its own. most of the wait seems to be in the stomach. if they put weight in the legs it could balance it (maybe it was just ironman with the heavy stomach) |

They are also doing a 1989 Michael Keaton Batman at 1/4 scale.

Why can't these be in scale with Hot Toys?

Most likely a separate license. That would likely conflict with Sideshow's 1/6 scale DC Comics license.

You're probably right, but still! 18" for a figure is a big on the "too large" side for me. Unless it's like Hulk or something.

I agree thats how I feel too. take up too much space and is just too big to go with the rest of my figures. Could they have done 10" like Mcfarlane is doing for the Walking Dead?
