Has anyone asked Hasbro about their piss poor distribution for the running changes for the new Marvel Legends? I'm still waiting for Blade and Dani Moonstar. I'm afraid I'll never own that new Sentry or be able to complete my Wrecking Crew. I mean, we were fine with the 1st two waves. I found everything I was looking for. But since then it has been down hill.
Now, with that Captain America wave coming out, I'm afraid I'll find a Zemo or I'll never be able to pick up a Hydra Solider or 2. They could do a hole wave (or even 2) from these lost running changes. I don't want this to sound like I'm just an angry fan boy, but I am still rather annoyed. How does everyone else feel? Does anyone know anything about the release of these figures? |

Where I agree this is a frustrating time to be a collector of the ML line, for the reasons you've stated, I think time will tell if we should be up in arms over the figures that they haven't released yet. I'm more impatient than the average person when it comes to wanting all the running changes, in fact one could say I jump the gun from time to time.
I believe we'll eventually get all of these released (hopefully in a single case), but I think in the near future there is a convention/ pop culture jambouree or what have you, that questions we are having about the line will be answered (especially about the running changes). No, I don't have proof, but it seems that Hasbro has figured out that collectors are fueling this line, and it's proven by recent character selection. I do have one concern though, over RedPool and FF Doom. It's that Hasbro has said they would be looking for avenues to release the RC's and it looks like they have over seas, which makes me wonder if we'll see them here too. I too am curious what will happen with the line, it's my fave!

I'm hoping these issues are addressed at Toy Fair. I wish I could get into the Hasbro booth and just ask. I was at NY Comic Con a few weeks back and a vendor had the Red Deadpool and the FF Doom, but he was charging insane amounts for them. I collect Transformers too, so I'm used to paying a lot for toys, but I can't say I'm ok with paying over $150 for a ML figure. Personally, I don't need the Red Deadpool because I have the red one from the Warpath 2 pack that come out a few years ago.
The line is my all time favorite too. I hope we see results. |

Strangely enough, this appeared on Walmart recently. Maybe they'll be out in time for the holidays?

Have to agree with you there, you basically have to get these online now, I wonder if it's just retail not stocking them with all the other Marvel stuff that they have to get such as the cartoon and movie items, and they're trying to cater to that instead of the comic figures. I know a lot of the cartoon and movie stuff peg warm like crazy. It's surprisingly that the Wolverine movie stuff actually moved in my location. Being that they only were allowed to carry the small figures of them.

I'm a bit confused by some of the waves available on Bigbadtoystore. There are multiple revisions for Series 01 and 02 but the waves are just have mixed basic figures from the previous series. Why not make one of those revisions full of variants? I don't understand it.

I didn't even know they canned the cyclops one. Lame, I wanted that. I heard the Rouge was canceled too. Any truth there?

If I had Moonstar in any shape or form I'd never beg for a character to be made again.
It just frustrates me that Punisher and Mystique were the ones that came out and not Moonstar, Blade or Iron Fist.

Hasbro Updates Us On Marvel Legends Swap Figures, MU 3-Packs & More - Figures - MarvelousNews.com Too bad there wasn't any info on Jubilee.. I think this will be final proof for Hasbro that when a buyer is taking 8 or 16 figs at a time, that there is no need to not include all the RC's, variants, swaps etc in a one case, one shot deal. Questions still exist with the Cap wave. Like what are they including in the second wave(if I understood that correctly), and what are the remaining figures for the 2 waves we'll be getting from ASM2? It was nice to get some info on the ML line nonetheless, I wish it was a monthly interview or press release kind of thing though I had to edit my wording there, sorry folks

It is good and bad, I fully agree with that. I just feel like when ANY company says "we're looking for ways to get these out" it really means "don't get you hopes up". I left a comment on that forum that this video came from as well, saying how I feel like Hasbro is always talking out of both side of their mouth. I don't want to be mad at this company because they could always turn around and say, no more marvel legends. I REALLY want to be understanding. I feel like they're the kid on the playground saying "you want this? you want this?" and then they never give it to you. As a toy collector, I am fine with waiting, but I much prefer getting the toy in the end.
-Sigh- Ok, my rant's over. |

I don't usually get up in arms about what Hasbro does, but if we don't get that sweet movie Black Widow they showed us for the Cap line or that near classic looking Spider-Man movie fig, I will be borderline pissed. I'm still salty about Sentry never being released, but I can custom that dude unlike these others (well, not as easily anyways).

If the ASM2 wave is coming out over two cases...what would be Black Cat's running change figure? Could we get a Gwen Stacy? Mary Jane Watson? Silver Sable? Or would Hasbro possibly throw us a bone and put Rogue or Dani Moonstar in the second case?
I really thought we were going to get a Falcon figure out of the Cap2 bunch, but who knows, maybe that wave will come out over two waves and hopefully give us a chance to double up on our army builders.....Ah to dream lol

I'm still wondering out loud here about possible inclusions in the ASM2 wave. It would only take a Blizzard repaint to make Spot, but that one may be a little too obscure. But we could possibly see Iron Fist in there as he's made cartoon appearances in the recent past, and with that being said maybe a mass production of Luke Cage.
Speculating is fun!

Worried since that's the last IM3 wave and there's no sign of it at retail yet, some stores haven't gotten wave 2 yet.
