I believe they recently said they are still working on it. I'm being told that by someone who visited their Facebook group. I don't do Facebook, so I can't access the private group.

I live local to Amok Time, and I'm officially the first guy to buy one of these bad boys...I walked in right after they had been delivered to the store and they popped open a case for me.
I'd say Herbert is superior to a lot of the retro figures out there these days, as it actually has more articulation than average. Good Herbert West likeness (for a retro figure), as well, and the accessories are perfect. The owner of Amok Time is a big Reanimator fan and you can tell just by looking at the detail that went into the figure. I bought two: As for the 6" figure, that's been a long-drawn out process, and one that I've been following for a while as I'm a huge Reanimator fan myself. From what I've been told by BS-ing with the owner and some of the other guys there, there were multiple hurdles to jump with Jeffrey Comb's agent, and when they finally cleared that up and got the prototype from China, they weren't happy and decided to re-do the figure, including improving the articulation. So, it looks like it's a matter of "it's done when it's done," but the owner has been working on it for so long and sunk so much dough into it, I have no doubt that the figure'll see the light of day sooner or later. Awesome stuff Dolemite. Mine shipped already. This will be my third Monstarz figure. I have Bub from Day of the Dead and a Crite from Critters.

Not interested in the Re-animator, but I definitely prefer this figure's design over the reaction junk. Funko needs to alter their reaction line before it dies, I've seen plenty of reaction figures peg warming this last year, more than usual anyway.

Have you see Funko's new Game of Thrones 3.75" figures? All will have 9 points of articulation.

I actually just tried watching this Friday night for the first time. I only made it like half an hour in because I wasn't sure if I could handle the gore... don't know if it was just an off night or I'm losing my nerve

I need a Bruce Banner; this will do.
re-animator has elbow joints, so the line looks like it is progressing and considering this scale has been forsaken by many; I am actually excited that Funko is making the Game of Thrones figures in 3.75 scale with added articulation. High hopes! |

It's definitely a crazy movie, and it goes completely bonkers at the end. It takes a decent set of stones to be able to handle it, but its well worth it because the movie is awesome.

At least watch the first one because it's really good. The second was fine from what I recall but Beyond Re-Animator was pretty bad.
It's been a while since I've seen the sequels though so I could be mistaken. |

No, you're pretty much right on the money. The first movie was great, the second decent, the third ass-tastic. But Jeff Combs makes even a bad movie watchable, so it's worth watching all three Reanimators at least once.

It'd make for some great Halloween fun. I watched the first one again last year. I just happened upon it on Netflix.
I'll agree with that. He seems like he'd be an awesome guy to meet. |

Very nice guy, but you could tell that everyone was meeting him was just into Reanimator as he asked me which pic I wanted autographed and he made a point of suggesting some of his Star Trek stuff, but nope, I went right for the Herbert West pics. Anyway, very nice, approachable guy who seems to enjoy meeting his fans and chatting them up. Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees) is another cool guy if you ever get the chance to meet him. |

Nice. Always good to hear that someone whose work you enjoy isn't a total a-hole.
