I've checked out the toys and honestly not impressed at all. =/ they just look...cheap. may make a decent base for a Rocket Red custom

We just got a two pack of Atom and Zeus and they're ok.
They would have been so much cooler if they didn't have the light up gimmick because then they could have added a waist joint. We would however like to switch the parts of some of them and then paint it all one color to make our own custom robot. |

Bought the Zues to make a killer robot- I'm useing some Zeon Gundam's arms with these giant flippin claws with it...popped it's head off and am looking fora suitable replacment that looks cool.
Then it's repaint time! |

Yeh well as long as it doesn't cost ya anything go see it and tell us if it's any good or as predictable as it looks... man builds robot, son is better then dad with robot, dad enters son in tournament to save some farm or business and fights competition along the way, but at the end when the giant battle is near the boy wins it all.. yay Disney. go shortbus lol.

We saw it like Man and son find junkyard bot, Man teaches junkyard bot to fight, junkyard bot wins it all for money for some type of expense that the man has. Last edited by TheSymbiote; 10-05-2011 at 01:34 AM.. |

Who ever green-lighted this project (movie and toys) should have to get in a ring with a giant fighting robot. The movie will be in and out of the theaters in two minutes and the toyline screams Prince of Persia.. they'll be a nickel a piece in a few months.

I hope so! That Zues bot is making great custom fodder- I'm thnking some sort of mandroid might work from it as well...and the toys have this great feature that lets you swap their arms and legs to customize your own robots- a VERY cool toy feature that they could have skipped.

Rock 'em Sock 'em Real Steel Has anyone picked up the Build & Brawl set from Target? I want to be interested in this toyline but it's not grabbing me too much, honestly the light ups really throw me off from the smaller figures. |

I saw the movie and it almost made me cry several times.
My son has Atom and Zeus, and they're actually pretty fun to play with.
