i used to go as Eisenliger when i started out, eisen as german for Iron, with me being an Iron Man Fan, and Liger from the series ZOIDS. since eisen was also used for a special military unit from that series, i stuck with it. over time i dropped the liger part from my name and just stuck with eisen.

Boombatty - Cuz Jay calls Silent Bob "Fatty Fatty Boom Batty", a phrase we used to call chubs when I was a kid as well. Always made me chuckle.

I remember I started this thread on Hisstank lol.
Uh, I like Snake-Eyes and I like Deadpool. Snake-Eyes is the Silent Master and Deadpool is the Merc With The Mouth. So I just combined them sorta and now I'm TheLoudMaster. |

Well, one of the very first comic books I ever read (Uncanny X-Men) had a "Bullpen Bulletin" page in the back. At the end of the article it had Stan Lee sign off with his famous "Excelsior!". Ever since then, I guess I just enjoy the catchphrase. For some reason, it always reminds me of my favorite X-Men and their stories.
Excelsior also happens to be the original name of a support group for former teenage superheroes in the Runaways series, lol.

My mom used to tell me I looked like a scarecrow because of how tall I was. Then I stopped growing. Coincidentally, The Scarecrow is my favorite Batman villain, so it all falls into place. It makes for a cool codeman for playing military games too.

My usernames are always weird for a choice.
I've gone from DeadEnd to Devilhawk to DHawk to Twilight(before the books existed) to DuckHawk to DororoHawk to RemHalcyon to Dororo to Talon till finally Snowflakian here. RemHalcyon stands for Remnant of a peaceful tide. So to speak. I still use it spottily in designs and stories as a name which carried over one day when I couldn't think of something original for online usage. That began a new question. An original name and presence online to be unique that expressed my views as one of many, but without the negative connotations of Legion. So while sipping hot chocolate one night from my mugg, it dawned on me. I kept trying to think of a word to describe me and my snowflakian ways. Nevermind that the mugg had a snowflake pattern on it. >.> It's also in memory of a friend who's moved on to do better things with her life. |

well, besides the fact the my favorite color is green, I just really liked this nickname for The Hulk in the "Planet Hulk" story. After the Red King slashed his face from their first confrontation and his warbound and other people of the planet were calling him Green Scar I liked it. So I decided I'd let this be my username to show my affinity for the Planet Hulk storyline.

Nice.
Mine come from a few things: I love the idea using sound as a weapon and I'm a huge fan of Soundwave. I took that and combined it with a variation of what I do in real life. Over the years, I've also built a whole fan character and backstory around the name.

And we all know that to be so true.... NOT! You thought you were doing Morse Code!
For me... I got mine YEARS ago in the military. With a last name like Crownover it was an easy transition. For the longest I was either Adrian or Cronauer from Good Morning Vietnam. From that a NCO friend started calling me CO (wanted to call me XO but it confused too many other Airmen - being I knew more about the older jets than the NCOs being had had worked on them for years and they only worked new ones). Then i started signing everything Crown and a squiggle after it (limited space in aircraft maintenance forms). Then one night a lady friend bought me a drink and told me with my name it should be my drink. The next week I was CrownCoke and drinking them. And since that point the lowest Airman I worked with to the Full Bird Colonel for my Squadron called me that till I seperated 3 yrs later. |

I used like this band Nile, and they had a song Wind of Horus, which was my favorite.. So when it came time to pick a X-Box Live gamertag, I happened to be listening to this song and thought it'd make a good name to go by, and now years later I still use it, because I'm unoriginal and can't come up with anything else lol |

The grapefruit part of my username is from an inside joke between me and my friends.
The Sage part, however, has been lost to the far reaches of time. I have no recollection of how I got that part of the username. But I've come to like that as my nickname, so I guess it works. XD
