There will be some whack jobs who disagree...but this is how you do an action figure.
That pose with the wind blowing the cape with bats crouching...freakin looks awesome. People dislike the holes in the cape as it "blows" in the "wind"...which looks strange, I agree, but damn that is an one heck of a dynamic pose. It is breath taking. It is very unique. I understand the dislike for the design, but you don't like it, go mod one. I like when companies try new things...or rather have their own unique style to them. There is not way any cape wtih a wire or plastic cape would allow such a dynamic pose as that pic above. THat batman looks fantastic from Revoltech. My favorite figure of all time might be the Revoltech Vash the Stampede... I got to say this figure is an easy purchase and might be one of those I get multiples of. |

Between posing the figure and cape and balancing it all, seems like getting poses as seen in those pics is gonna be quite the time suck. Great if you have the time for it.

Not sure I'm entirely on board with the concept of plastic articulated capes but the rest of the figure looks pretty nice. The head on the bat symbol is a little disproportionate though.

I was so psyched about this, but seeing these images I m kind of let down by the choice of the costume( more in-line with the New 52 Batman (or Arkham) rather than the classic look).
The cape doesnt look good, it looks like broken glass forming around him, so thats kinda off. I will probably pre-order/buy cause its one of kind figure but meh.... |

I have the wire cape on my Mafex Phasma in a similar pose to this actually, so I think it might be possible. Also, I think this couldve been done as a wire cape with a wire for each of the main phalanges of his cape. At the price this will probably end up being, maybe Revo shouldve included an alternate simpler cape (cloth maybe) instead of going all or nothing.

Ok this looks good but whats that panel on the side of his chest? besides that they even slimmed down does thunder thighs that the other revoltechs suffer from.

Might have to pass on this dude. I don't think The Bat needed the Reoltech treatment

The bits on the side of the chest are probably supposed to be for the movement of the pecs, lats, traps, and deltoids. Usually, on non-Revoltech figures, this is accomplished with a butterfly joint or the shoulder being attached to a ball joint inside the body, but here they do it as a large section that can be moved forwards, backwards, up, and down.

What design is this figure based on? Agree with the cape looking "off". It has way too many duplicated parts that make it look like he is wearing multiple capes. Looks kind of Spawn-esque...

Wow, that Batman is awful looking. The cape is just a mess. In fact, when the hell did Batman acquire Spawn's cape?

I don’t see why the costume is such a disappointing choice honestly I’m sick of the blue and gray I believe that Batman should be blended with the shadows but I’m not a fan of the all blacked out aesthetics and that Frank Miller fat symbol so overused but black and grey is so badass ass especially with the gold/yellow bet

Dc collectibles new 52 icons Batman in Justice League icons 7 pack Cancelled Medicom/SH Figuarts Too realistic Hot Toy Not 1/12 scale Mezco toys Basically mini hot toys Unless figma makes a black and grey articulated Jim lee or new 52 style Batman My bat collection will never be complete but this revoltech figure will do for now But I do understand and respect your constructive criticism and opinion on this Also I’m not a fan of that cape either |

yeah, looking back at pictures everything aligns (belt gauntlets etc). I was debating between the Arkham Knight and the New 52 one because of the darker greys around the thighs. But looking at various artists interpretations its just shading they were trying to achieve not an actual costume element.
Really curious about their choice seeing as Batman has abandoned that costume for more than a year now..... I wonder if this means they will do a color variant like with Deadpool :/ |
