Seems like Carnage is joining Venom in Revoltech's Amazing Yamaguchi lineup of Marvel figures.
No specific info or pricepoint is given, only a general 2018 release date. I found the pictures on Taghobby but they clearly have an AmiAmi watermark, I would give a proper source but I have no idea where they posted these photos. TAGhobby.com |

Me: "Oh yeah I don't think I need to go into the Yamaguchi line, it's not like they'll have a figure I absolutely need-"
...God damn it. There goes my money. I can't resist Carnage. |

This works on so many levels. The messy nature of Carnage blends the joints so well. They did an excellent job choosing Carnage and executing the figure.

DANG IT, there goes another $70 down the drain. Bought sight. This may be the definitive Carnage.

Interesting that this guy is made by Figure Complex, as opposed to being listed under Amazing Yamaguchi. Not sure how or why, though it's still made by Kaiyodo and the sculptor is still apparently Yamaguchi.
This might be the definitive Carnage 1:12 scale figure btw. The messy texture and busy look of the character makes it a prime candidate for Revoltech, what with hiding the exposed joints. Having all the tendrils fully-articulated is a huge bonus. |

He looks really good. I had some issues with their Venom but Carnage came out perfect. All those included weapons and tendrils are great!

Looks Amazing. I do agree venom had a heavy upper torso which caused issues with the Revoltech mid section joint, but Carnage looks perfect.
I have 2 Venoms; 1 was perfect and the other, as mentioned above, had the mid torso issue. Still my SECOND fave venom behind the MS version. |

ppft, whatever, its just ok.....I feel like this thread needs a sole contrarian.
Seriously, between the textures, proportions and accessories, seems as if Yamaguchi hit it out of the park with this one. |

Question:
will this scale with my Marvel Legends? I have the MS Venom and he fits in fine; Venom has always been a bit bulkier/taller than Spider-Man, so no biggie. But Carnage should really be the same height as Spider-Man, not taller. |

What an absolute beast of a figure. I mentioned several times how the Revoltech-style of joints don't sit well with me, especially on human figures, but for Venom, it worked out rather well and it looks even better on Carnage.
The sculpt is awesome, accessories are fantastic and the Modulok-esque way of being able to use every part on the whole figure and plugging multiple weapons into one port via converters is genius. I think I need this one. Seeing him alongside Spider-Man and Venom only reminds me how I still don't like them, but Carnage came out perfect IMO. |

For me the, Venom dealbreaker was always that face. Looks like they've given Carnage something less obnoxious, which is great news.

He's up for pre-order now, MSRP seems to be around 7452¥ but some retailers give good pre-order discounts.
Seems like Spider-Man is also getting a second reissue to accommodate Carnage. I know what you mean, I've seen one picture where I liked Venom's face but in all others, it looks a bit goofy. |
