Completely not what I was expecting (in a good way). I had absolutely no interest in this film until I saw this trailer. Now I am intrigued due to the very different approach.

Still not sure how this will act as a prequel to the Tim Burton film. Honestly, I hope it stays as far away from that train wreck of a film as possible.
