This is my first post here in Toyark.com and I'm glad to start off here with my new diorama! =) I've been collecting Iron Man figures since Marvel Legends era, and I'm dying to make a diorama out of it but it seems too big and I don't have enough space for my display cab. Once the Iron Man 3.75 inches came out of the market, I didn't think twice to start this project. After almost a month working on my Iron Man diorama (started April 1st), finally I completed it! (though I need to install 2 more light set up for the armory) but everything else what I have in mind is here. Most of the details are fabricated using boards, printed stuffs, and many improvised stuffs. Good thing also I completed all of the Mark 1-6 before finishing the dio I really had a blast working on this and I'm glad to share this with you all. Workstation with custom sculpted tony stark head Garage Tony working on his SL500 - still looking for Audi R8 1/18 =) The Workshop Tony's workshop The Armory Custom painted Mark III I repainted the gold parts with more metallic yellowish gold, washed the armors details with black. I did the same thing with Mark IV and VI. I'm really satisfied with the result. TFL! I'll try add more pics soon! Last edited by riverspoons; 09-01-2010 at 09:09 PM.. |

Awesome armory garage, love the movie aesthetics with the cars and chains even monitor use. The only part that feels off really is the alcoves. I love the slanted off corner usage, but think how much more awesome it could be against the wall using the target armory stands, maybe even more in the wall halfway, would give you room almost for a fourth on each side too maybe. Depends on your measurements. All around amazing job though. Especially love the circle LED lights.

Now this is what I would LOVE to do with a toy display!!
Make it as cool and interesting as you possibly can! Good job, Riverspoons and I'm glad to see another Filipino on the board, especially if he's making kick ass stuff like this! And I love your recipe for a tony stark: Logan from the X-Men Wolverine Movie series and a Breaker head from the 25th anniversary line with some sculpted hair added to it. Keep up the good work, and I'll try to get to work on something similar to this hopefully! |
