Probably got more screentime since Trowa was the only seemingly normal pilot out of the main 5. Heero was an emotionless trained assassin, Duo was a happy go lucky deathbringer, Quattre was a pus and Wu Fei wanted war.
Suffice to say once I got into UC Gundam more afterwards, I realized that UC was a lot better. Some AC series are cool and Wing is overrated. I respect it for nostalgia and I was more into back in the day than now. IIRC one of the Ronin Warriors guys wrote the series so having 5 guys as main characters that also ended up appealing to female audiences was not surprising. I will always love Gundam Wing because it introduced me to Gundam and really kicked off my interest in anime (DBZ too), but I think Gundam is best when it is about large warring factions and the Mobile suits are mostly glorified tanks. 8th MS team is still one of my favorites because of how practical it made things seem. I enjoyed Gundam Seed even tough some characters were annoying and G-Gundam is hilarious but the UC stuff is the best. if I remember correctly Wing didn't do that great in Japan initially. Hasn't it always been more popular here because of the Toonami factor?

I agree with everything you just said except maybe the Trowa part. He had some issues from losing his memory and his hair was weird as hell. Duo was the closest to having it together but maybe I think that because I would react more or less same way he did to things.

Bandai had brought over earlier Gundam series on VHS but they were all direct to video and not shown on TV stateside. 08th MS team is awesome. Irks me that there has yet to be a Robot Damashii Ez8 let alone Ground Gundam RX-79, yet we have the Gouf Custom. Bandai is weird with selection for this series.

Anyone know a good site to preorder this guy? I usually go to HLJ but they didn't have it up at first and when I checked a few days later it said that orders were closed.

Those days were awesome. Sure the figures now are better than the best of MSiA!(EMSiA!), but damn...what a price increase!

I think it comes out to about $36. I don't know what BBTS charges for shipping to you but HLG is usually $12-$15 for me and that is cheaper than BBTS plus the item price is lower. Just takes longer to get to you I guess but the shipping has been fast enough for me. Side note, I see that the "option" kit is $50 on BBTS. I hate that they made it an exclusive. I really need to get that single barrell gun. I wonder if make people will be selling the parts for each Gundam separate.

It may take less time for HLJ to get the figure shipped to you since HLJ is shipping from Japan while Bluefin has to wait for the figures from Japan to get shipped over, then ship them to whichever retailers they service here in the states. So chances are, you may get your figure up to a month early from Japan.
