cooltoyreview put up a list of their rumored MU waves 3-4 of 2011
Its a pretty neat list, and CTR is usually right in their rumors for marvel figures. Quote:

Oh god this list makes me so happy. No Iron MAn which is a huge plus hahaha
Scarlet Spider even though he is a spiderman version, I think he is a much needed variant/character Wtf is with Ultron and Doom? I have to admit I really didn't like the body styles they were given but I was content with them. Ultron better be pretty bitching though with the cape and sword and what not. Skaar....badass |

Meh, those characters don't do anything for me. I'm happy with the Dr Doom from the two pack. I guess Darkhawk could be interesting. Is he relevant to the comics lately or is it pretty much the old Darkhawk from way back when?

Great list. Finally getting Dr. Strange! Really happy about that. Wouldn't mind a new Ultron or Dr. Doom either. X-23 we knew about, but is still cause for celebration. Darkhawk is an interesting choice. And is that Steve Rogers going to be the current costume? I hope so. Good figures all around.

Agree, would like to see Beast pre-feline, Gambit, Ice Man with crystal/clear variant, Rouge, Jubilee, 90's Bishop and Cable. Mr. Sinister, Omega Red (another posted mentioned a redeco of Constrictor), Apocalypse is comming that's good.
I'm interested in the Ultron and Dr. Doom figures, and of course X-23. Even though I just bought the 2-pack of Doom (my favorite villian, next to Magneto (and Lex Luthor)). Dr. Strange should be a good figure as well. I'd like to see Scarlett Witch and Invisible Woman to finish off the FF. Surprised there is no comics Red Skull. How about a Rachel Summers/Phoenix II with a 80's hound costume variant! |

REally looking forward to Dr. Strange, Skaar, Falcon and X23. Was really disappointed with the body style for Ultron and Doom so maybe they've fixed it. Not a big fan of Scarlet Spider or Darkhawk but I'll probably still pick at least Darkhawk up. Steve Rogers is and always will be Captain America to me so he's probably a pass as well as Namor since I'm fine with the one I've got.

They DO need to release more 90s xmen and villains, especially from the cartoon, some are coming but not fast enough for me. they also need spiderman villains. Specifically they need a cartoon accurate Apocalypse. the one in the pictures looks a little different. No A on his belt

Those look like pretty good line-ups to me. Very happy about potentially getting a Commander Steve Rogers and Falcon. After the showed the Bleeding Edge Iron Man, I knew it would only be a matter of time before we got a new Steve.
Though I am surprised that they both showed up here and not in the Cap line. Hopefully this frees up room for villains in the Cap line, though MU and the movie lines have been known to double-up on characters. I have a feeling that Falcon might use the Jim Lee Cyclops buck, which should make for a great figure, I also hope he gets a variant, so we can have his classic and the current Steve Epting designed costume. Doctor Stange is a welcome addition for those trying to finish off Defenders and New Avengers teams. Not sure what to make of Ultron and Doom yet, if they are just straight re-packs it will be dissapointing, because its not like the Secret Wars 2 packs were hard to find, and if they are new versions, I would have rather they sculpted all-new villains instead, like Kang, as I'm generally happy with the versions we got. |

Given how hard Dr. Doom and the other later comic book packs were to find it's good news that some of those characters are seeing another release.
Plus I can't complain about getting some villain releases when Marvel has so many great rouges galleries but the villains get so few releases. You can get 500 versions of the Iron Man armor, but heavens forbid you want to collect the Sinister Six or the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. |

HOLY $%#@!!!!
Sorry, but darkhawk and X-23 in the same wave? Jiminy Cricket Hasbro, are you going to make me order a case if this thing sells out? Cause I'll be damned if I miss those. They will be mine any way I can get them! Besides those 2, I'll be getting: X-23 (Frak yes!) Ultron (need to see first) Darkhawk (Frak yes!) Falcon Dr. Strange (need to see first) Steve Rogers Dr. Doom (need to see first) Skaar Last edited by Snowflakian; 11-18-2010 at 05:05 AM.. |

More 90's X-men would be always be good!
Very glad if we get Doctor Strange. I could be tempted by Namor if he's in his X-men costume. I'd like an Elektra as well at some point. |

Its a pretty neat list, and CTR is usually right in their rumors for marvel figures. X-23 sounds right, since they said they are making her with a new female body mold. Namor is prolly X-Men Namor. Scarlet Spider was actually teased as a Silohette. Dr Doom and ultron are interesting, cause they are either rereleases of the comic figures, or whole new bodys. The rest sounds Awesome. Even Darkhawk. Falcon and Steve Rogers and Skaar and Strange are Must Haves Agreed that I'm almost surprised he isn't showing up in the movie line, but when you consider it, he really is a "comic" character as "Commander Steve Rogers." Not to say that we might not get him in both (See: Classic and Modern Iron Man, Brown Suit Wolverine, etc...). Looking forward to pretty much all these figures. Also, I expect that later in the year we'll probably get a lot of X-Characters, because at this point I'm betting that there won't be a dedicated "X-Men: First Class" toyline (too much conflict with Captain America and Thor for shelf space). With dedicated lines for Cap, Thor, and Iron Man (and Avengers in 2012), that will leave MU relatively free to focus on non-Avengers, and the X-Men are the biggest piece of the "Non-Avenger" pie (followed by the Fantastic Four). In other words, I half-expect MU to become the "unofficially official" X-Men: First Class tie-in next year. |

I think you might be right - I've just checked the release dates for the 3 films - Thor is scheduled for May, X-men in June and Captain America for July. Give that we've seen Captain America figures it would be strange not to have seen any X-men figures yet.
I guess they think that without Wolverine in the film, kids aren't going to be that interested. Here's hoping we get Professor X, Beast, Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw in Marvel Universe instead! |

Impressive line-up. Wouldn't mind getting the whole wave, but it will be a question of finding them and having the money on me to pull the trigger.

I will be buying. Capt. America was always my favorite figure growing up so the Steve Rodgers figure is a welcome addition (as is the upcoming movie line). Dr. Doom and Ultron again? Meh. Darkhawk and X-23? Sweeeet. Dr. Strange, why not? Skaar, maybe, need to see him first. Could care less about the others (not that I won't be buying them of course).
Until then I am holding my breath for a Wave with Mr. Sinister, Taskmaster, Black Knight, Deathlok and Nova. I am also holding my breathe for a comparable DC line of appropriately MU scaled figures (I want a bigger Deathstroke (wait that sounds wrong), a Deadshot, a Hawk & Dove (well really just Hawk), Wild Dog, Lobo, and Monarch figure). |

Hell yeah. Hell yeah, I hated the Clone Saga but liked Ben Reilly. I prefer his Scarlet Spidey costume to his Spiderman one. Gave him more of an "identity" as weird as it sounds.
