Finally decided to start collecting the figuarts Marvel and Star Wars stuff. Prob going to buy the rest of the Marvel ones this week like Black Widow, Ultron and the other Iron Man armors. I'm a Marvel Legends and Black Series Star Wars fan and I pretty much own every single figure from both lines... so I never thought I'd say this, but, these are so much better. Granted these are triple the price vs. those but damn, the quality is superb. Between Hot Toys (Just won auction for Hot Toys Christopher Reeve Superman for 270 new in box)and these... It's has been and is going to be an expensive month! But so worth it!

Bad a$$ setup Riddick.
Is it me or does the SH.Figuart Hulk look wierd? His chest looks like it has a lot of estrogen build up and his arms seem too long and thin. |

Lol, it's just an odd angle and position I have it set in. Other poses it looks better. Thanks for pointing that out, now I can't unsee it haha.

So...I haven't posted in a while...many changes in my life. I stopped collecting EVERYTHING, except Japanese Figures. I will be selling my entire collection very soon. Keep an eye out for that if you’re interested.
Here at my latest...

Ultraman is... kind of a let down. Well, it's great, but I've had to put in to have Amazon ship me a replacement because my god, the quality control on my figure sssuuuuuuuuuuucksssssssss! Like Kamen Rider Zx bad. His joints are extremely loose, so I can't keep him standing up for more than a minute and his elbows are so loose I could barely get him to stay in his finishing move pose long enough to get that shot I did. Hence why that is probably the worst picture of the bunch as I had to take what I could get. The timer is also glue into his chest so I can't even switch it out with the red colored one. Oh, and the plastic inside the Baltan ship hole was never fully cut, so I can't even attach the Tamashii Stand to it. I hope mine is just a one off and this isn't how the whole production was because if it is, this was no where near a $75 toy.

So...as I was going to purchase the new Revol Spidie, they just announced a new homecoming one from both Mafex and SHF. I'm gonna wait then!

Do you care whether it's a movie design over a comic one?

That doesn't bother me as much as it does to other people but, I prefer movie design just because the rest of the Marvel SHF's are movie designs.

Kind of...see, I'm the type of person that when I set my mind on something, I just do it. I always saw my collection as an investment so I knew this day would come. My only regret is not discovering SHF's, Figma and Revoltech toys sooner.

Hi guys. I'm gonna be selling my Mighty Morphin' PR Figuarts soon, which includes Red, Green and Yellow (Japanese versions) and Blue, Black and Pink (American versions).
They're used, but in perfect condition and with packaging. On top of that, Red, Blue and Black are signed by their respective actors from the first season of Power Rangers (i.e. Austin St. John, David Yost and Walter Jones). The question I have, if anyone could help me is, what sort of price should I be looking to get for these? As I have no idea what sort of price increase the signatures give them. Thanks! |

Also, when I sold off my Tiger & Bunny Figuarts I had Patrick Seitz's autograph on the box of Sky High and he sold for $8, which is well below his retail price. As for yoru Figuarts, well it depends. Pink Ranger alone I believe goes for like $150. I'd say put them up on ebay for $500 and see what kind of offers you get.

Thanks for your input, Dr Kain. Those are really good insights. I'll just list them online and see what happens, I guess.
I did wonder if autographs in this day and age of overexposed Comic Cons would actually reduce the price of the thing hahaha and yep it seems like they sorta do. |
