I couldn't help myself. Honestly though there is always a chance of getting knockoffs. It helps to research the seller, their reviews, ask questions about the item, etc. There is always a risk though. Luckily, for me anyway, Amazon is really good with their refund, return policy.

Yo all!
Couple shots of my figures. I used TV screen as a background, table LED lamp and hand made styrofoam diorama. Hope You enjoy it. |

Figma Deadpool... Today's arrivals from Japan...One is the "deluxe" version (red box) that comes with the extra lower extremities (heart boxers). I will open a deluxe once the other one I'm expecting arrives but, this Deadpool looks to be the best one out in the market so far (sorry ONE:12)!

Just got Kylo, Rey, and the last two Preatorian Guards in from HLJ. Now that I've seen the movie, I think I need to get five more.

I'm currently waiting for Naruto's Madara Uchiha, DB's Yamcha and some extra hall of armor pieces. Hopefully they arrive before New Years at least...

Just received my first SH Figuarts figure (and pretty quickly). Sadako from the Ring films. I’ll post some pics when I can, as there are a lot of possible variations.
I’m used to NECA figures, so my first impression was that it’s very lightweight. Even the Figma Pyramid Head I have has some decent weight to it. The TV it comes with definitely has a cheap plastic feel to it. However, those are minor criticisms really, and the lightness keeps the cost down. The sculpt is fairly simple but great looking. Articulation where you’d expect, as well as on the toes. The figure is designed to replicate the awkward look of the limbs, and various other moments from the film. Accessories are a pair of hands (normal and clawing), the video tape, a TV with a screenshot of the well as seen in the film video, an alternative TV screen where Sadako can plug in, an alternate lower torso in a kneeling position, a clip-on hair piece with one eye showing, and two alternative heads completely covered in hair (one hanging normally, and one pooling on the floor). The figure can stand normally, with three alternative head/hair features, crawl on the floor (with two different heads), or be coming out of the TV (with two different heads). So seven possible ways of posing Sadako (or 28 if you factor in the different hand combinations). Sadako’s face is there under the clip-on hair, but it’s not designed to be viewed. More of a nice extra. Overall the numerous ways of displaying this figure is very impressive. I’d definitely recommend it to fans of the original films. |

Yeah, at this point the death poses for Yamucha are a tired trope. When I eventually get that figure I probably won't be doing it either.

So here are some pics I quickly took today of the Ringu Sadako figure. Forgot to include the VHS tape piece. I knew I wanted to have the TV background, so this is a bit of a trial run just using my phone. I’ll aim to do a proper set of pics at some point, with more pictures, a black floor, and just the TV screen in the background.
