Seems to be confirmed for release now!

Tamashii Nations will open a new website for their products based on western movies and television shows called "Cinema Tamashii", said site will fully open on May 28th which will bring more info’s and pre-orders for future releases.

The tease that went up today shows IG-11, which tells me he’ll go up for pre-order soon.

I was hoping for some more reveals, or an actual reveal of a preorder with that site, but at least it's pretty much confirmation IG-88 is coming. I wonder if he'll get more accessories for The Child like another head or something.

Also today's the actual 40th anniversary of ESB, so really hoped it would be something from that. Was it just a coincidence? lol

It seems they're still only going to focus on live action movies/tv shows so I guess I'll continue to not look forward to comic book versions or animated tv show versions.

Man, that really puts hasbro to shame. I know it’s $50 more, but man, hasbro, step it up.

I'll take it! Pre-ordered. Just so damn cool. I can't believe my eyes! The Mando finally brought an IG to the table. So grateful for SHF right now and the show. Damn....

Is there any way to preorder web exclusives from the tamashi website directly, or is it still through something like nippon yassan?

They have an official US outlet now but certain brands are still exclusive to Japan, Star Wars is one of them.

So yes, Nippon Yasan or a similar middleman service / import retailer is your only option here.

He is also up on Big in Japan. They're a big shop that I have used before. With shipping it is coming to just under $95 so much cheaper than BBTS. I guess it being a Japanese Tamashi Web Shop exclusive means even BBTS has to go through these services. He is also on anime-export.

Yeah when it's a web exclusive literally everyone, even those stores in Japan, have to order through Bandai.

Im struggling to find a good place to pre-order this (Im in the UK), so far Anime Export is looking like my only good option.

Nippon Yasan is the only other one that comes to mind.

Their price is slightly better but I went with AE as I already have an existing order for that month there.

Thanks, I don't trust Nippon Yassan, so I might just go with AE. I was sort of hoping someone would say Amazon Japan or even better someone domestic to the UK.

Does Mykombini ship to the UK? That's my go to site for exclusives.

Well Amazon Japan won’t get exclusives IIRC and I don’t know any domestic UK retailers

Out of curiosity: How's your experience with them? They were never on my radar but looking them up; their prices are the best I've seen on Web-Exclusives.

And I think if I read their FAQ correctly they do offer group shipping per month? Because Tamashii likes to announce Web-Exclusives on different dates but with the same release month so I would like to group up orders by month if possible.

Interesting, my concern would be do their parcels get stopped at UK customs/attract charges? (a little issue most non-UKer don't have to even think about). They are a little cheaper than AE if that is the case but if not they could wind up more expensive over all.

Yeah I thought as much therefore I will probably go with AE, better the devil you know right? Thanks for the help.

I've had good experiences with them, I have grouped different web exclusives before, Yoda and the Hot Rod Iron Man, but I'm not sure if they were released on the exact same day and if that mattered.

I live in the US, so I'm not sure of what prices they mark packages to the UK, but they're a solid store.
