they need to drop that big gold ass medallion on his forehead...makes it hard to take this Vader serious

Looks very neat, there were lots of samurai that had huge medallions on their heads.

It would be cool if they could have form fitted the medallion into the helmet more, it just looks like it is glued on to the front of it. Interesting overall though...

I love it.
I like the helmet piece because it's the Imperial logo. It may have been better in silver though.

Kind of fitting considering the influence (some believe) that Akira Kurosawa's samurai films had on Lucas' Star Wars. I like the design and I'm interested in seeing other "samurai" interpretations from the Star Wars epic.

I don't like the teeth.
I know there are Samurai helmets that have teeth, but there are also plenty that don't. In this case, they should have went with a teethless mouth, or perhaps teeth with fangs. BBTS has him up for preorder. Arriving In December. Hopefully they find a better supplier so they can lower the price.
