Wolverine looks pretty worried about getting those claws back in...
That Forge looks good- but you should chop down his neck some- that body was made to have a cape, I think.

Thanks VM and MM!
@Jason-Agreed! I'm not sure if that Wolvie buck is used on other figures. His head is HUGE and I've already shaved off about 25% of the neck ball. I'll keep whittling that down but there's not a lot of give on Frank's dome. If I core it out any more I may damage the exterior. |

I've been keeping an eye out for you, but this is basically what is out there:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CIAN-Chris-E...item4ab79036bb Looks good assembled, otherwise I'm not completely thrilled about it. I hope my outside opinion helps. |

Interesting, I happen to have this stuff:
Sorry about the crappy picture, but you get the idea. I'm sure that Police Joker head goes for a pretty penny these days, so if you want this stuff shoot me an offer and we can work something out. I want to buy Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson "Twins of Evil" concert tickets for my birthday, so you might be in luck dude. haha |

Thanks Gunzilla!
@Jason - Best and worst episode of GI Joe ever, lol. @DFD - Sooooo tempting. I think he goes for $50-ish on evilbay last I checked. Maybe after my next paycheck, lol. BTW, I added a picture of Joker complete with coat on my collection thread. He looks awesome complete! |

I may have to upgrade my own Vipeer with taht head..I dont know. I used the ROC baroness head and she looks nicely certifiably insane on a Helix body. Hmmm..maybe Baroness hair on a Psyloke head?

Is that sandman from a Spidey 3 figure? Looks like the arms would work for a nice Groot custom.

@Jason - Sounds like a great idea. I'm looking forward to seeing that! Yes that's Sandman from Spidey 3. I like how everyone's tackling Groot and ROM lately.
@1andonly - high praise, bud. You know I dig your work! I'm heading over to comment on your thread right now, lol. |

I've seen a few Rom figs but aside from the Hunterknight version, all are pretty rough. I saw someone made a Starshine, though it was the first one, ot the badass Brandy Clark version. Huh. She Hulk's body would be perfect fir Starshine!!!! (jots down in Sacred Notebook Of Custom Recipies)

Thanks Squirtle! She was the first custom I did with sculpted parts! If I could only find dark Miss Marvel now, lol.
That Jason Abbadon, always thinking...lol. I'll tackle ROM once vortious, onyx, et al have kits for him, lol. I'm more a kitbashing painter than a sculpting customizer |

I'm right there with you- I bought a bunch of sculpting and casting stuff but I dont know...I just have not taken the plunge for some reason [/chickenshit]
Really, Rom is not going to be crazy to do once I find the best donor body- I was considering an Ultimate Thor torso and arms with the torso cut verticaly and spread in a kind of "V" to be wider (and to match the PVC chest armor). Maybe use Sabertooth's legs...he's got purdy legs. Rom should be imposing- 7' tall (4.25" or so for a fig). Hey, you should try the recipie I have gonig for Silver Sable- just pop the Avengers Black Widow head onto a GI Joe Helix body and paint away! You just need to add the belt and those little things she throws, some guns and a headband! YOu could knock it out in a weekend, easy.

I had a broken CP Bullseye, an extra Iron Fist head, and spare Cyke parts from a failed custom. Throw in some Wolvy claws and what do you get?
Tarantula!!! Hope you can dig 'im! |
