Here's my latest creation, Magik. Credit to St. Phe for the idea. I was lucky and found Black Widow and Kitty Pryde at retail earlier today!

Nice! Maybe add a shoulder armor part from Ultron or an IM armor....and horns! She needs red curving horns!

Here's my take on Ares.
I used my original MU custom Ares but swapped out the head for the XMO movie Sabretooth and used Ages of Thunder Thor legs with Apoxie sculpt. I like him a lot more than my original and he looks pretty good with and without the helmet IMO! |

I finally finished my Kree soldier and Leader figures. I'm now looking for fodder for Terrax (Apocalypse? Thanos?) and Sleepwalker. Enjoy!

That Zemo turned out awesome! And, once again, you've scooped me on the Leader! I'm still waiting on that head from Onyx.
Really nice job on him! I like your Illiana custom but I'm going with an X-23 body and head with Black Widow hair- she's not so busty in the comics (of course neither is Kitty!). I'll go with her current outfit..... |

Thanks you guys!
@1andonly - I think your skills are top notch, bro. Full disclosure...I'm soooo stealing your Vulture idea, lol. @Jason - Great idea about X-23 for Magik. I just couldn't resist the "easy" custom as the Kitty body already had a costume that was fairly close to Illiana's. |

This one took a little extra effort and I'm very happy with how he turned out, Sleepwalker!

I got some free fodder from a fellow 'arker a while back. I believe this is General Hawk's dome...
A VERY easy custom, Victor Von Doom *dramatic music*!!! @Jason - I came across your Strucker from a while back. What did you use for the Satan Claw? I have some ROC movie vipers that I think may work. I'm just not sure how to get the lower arms off without destroying two figures. Last edited by scottmurdock; 04-29-2012 at 01:40 PM.. |

Love love LOVE that Sleepwalker mate!! His costume is AWESOME!!! Regarding the RoC lower arms have you used the dipping in a tub of boiling hot water method? If you do it for for about 20seconds,that should soften the plastic and you can pull the two halves apart without any damage!!!!

Thanks and thanks Proteus! I'll give that a try. I hope the ROC lower arm fits into the CA Red Skull figure. If it does it will make for an easy custom of Strucker.

FYI Slayer Design Studios is a combination of many artists. While most of the parts were reproduced at one place, the artists who made the sculpts are spread out. The person who made those parts is Bad Sociologist. I know he's on the Hisstank boards. If you pm him, you might be able to get a copy.
As for the boiling water, I used to only use this method, but have since switched to a hair drier. I find it easier on the paint. Every once in a while the hot water would screw with a finish. |

Nice! Hmmm...I hope that Bad Sociologist and the other Slayer sculptors find someplace to offer their work- it was really great stuff and I oly ordered a few things before it sorta disolved.

Thanks for the tips and info Jason & Jim. I contacted Bad Sociologist on hisstank and I'm hoping to hear back from him soon. If not, I have a pretty good back up plan for that claw.
