That Venom is hardcore, but Rhino, SM 2099 and the alt universe Spideys are beyond awesome.

That didn't take long.
Personally, I think the tendril look should stay with Carnage and the other symbiotes. But it will probably be my only Venom, unless I pick up a first release and kitbash the two together to get "my" version. The newer ones look promising, but we'll see once they hit store shelves.

As for an actual kitbash, you might be right. I'd have to get the two figures together and see if it can be done.

Nice sculpts... NIIICE sculpts...
... BOOOO! Why does bigger sculpt = less articulation? And don't feed me the "budget cuts" line. You could save more money if you'd stop sculpting all those unnecessary accessories. |

I don't think there is one. Dormamu probably just mistook one of the other figures for 2099; a few of the more unusually colored ones like these made me double take to check if there's a 2099 hiding in that armor or whatever:
But it's pretty clear that none of them do. It seems like they have every incarnation possible, plus a bunch of totally made-up ones like every Spiderman line gets, but no 2099. I'm sure with that Shattered Dimensions game coming out, there will be new interest in him and we'll get one soon.

I'm glad I picked up the original Rhino figure the other day. This one just looks kind of silly with the orange. But maybe that's just me.
Cool figure though, even with no knee joints, it's probably one of the better ones of the line. Really digging the new Venom. And he has knee joints, sold. Carnage looks ok. Though I kind of agree, he should have been the one to get the symbiote tendrils. |

The pic is shown in one of the other threads.

hmm im already enough and feel itchy if i saw another spiderman from hasbro, because HASBRO can create many silly armor and equipment spidey on it, but basically its all the same, so i just interested with VENOM and CARNAGE only...rhino i just prefer for the first one, not this silly orange rhino...also spiderman 2099, i will choose from the MU lines, its more looks normal than this one with ^$^%$ with equipment hehehehe

Technically no, I saw them yesterday but I didn't have my camera on me. Did you open it? It didn't look like it had knee articulation, which pissed me off immensely, as I like the sculpt. Surprisingly, I thought the Spiderman repaints in that wave looked cool. Have any of you guys bought them? Under-articulated but sculpts are decent.
Then again I chalked it up to maybe just me wanting something since there is no new ML's/6" Marvel comic stuff out there and me wanting to have something new. Don't know...maybe I'll pick one up, but no Lizard if there are no knee joints!
