I came across these yesterday on Ebay. It sucks that the pics are of the masterworks version but..... I hope this is going to be as awesome as the Galactus.

It's nice but not $100 nice.
I was at a small UK comic convention and you couldn't move for SDCC purple Galactus so i'm pretty assured that I can grab this without succumbing to the ebay price hike. It does look friggin' sweet though! |

Must be nice. I'm kinda limited to ebay since I live in the middle of nowhere - which sucks!!! I do have a few sellers that I constantly buy from and I'm hoping one of them is getting one.

Wait until right before the convention. There'll be a bunch of seller with these, some with them in hand, and the price will go down a lot. Last year SDCC Galactuses were going for $80 to $90 on eBay during the con. Of course the price jumped up when it was revealed not enough were made....

Good find on those eBay auctions.
If im even going to get this, ill just wait for the TRU version. I like the purple version better but cant justify the price difference. I'd rather buy a BAF Sentinel instead anyway. |

So the SDCC version comes with another Wolverine and the regular version that TRU will carry will come with Nightcrawler, or did they change the 3.75 fig he comes with from NC to Wolverine? I've been holding off on that Nightcrawler comic pack because I'd be getting one with Sent anyway, so hope he's still the fig they're using. I think it was the SS in both last year, but just in a different paint scheme.

Yeah these are just the beginning. I actually have all 3 Galactus' - sdcc, and both reg and var masterworks. They're awesome. I think for me the interest is in that huge ass blister card. The Galactus one is brutally awesome and i'm hoping the sentinel one is too. The artwork on the case is cool too.

I picked up a Variant Galactus on eBay for about $60 recently, and just returned the regular version to TRU. I like the dark paint app, and the clear Silver Surfer that comes with it is awesome.

I'm picking up two Sentinels. Not the SDCC ones. If Sentinel is anything like Galactus, he'll be available for retail 2 months after SDCC. so I can wait, unless I get jittery and have lightning fast ordering skills with hasbrotoyshop

From the info I have the SDCC version will come like SDCC Galactus in a huge blister with no additional fig. The Masterworks versions will come with a Wolverine that looks to be the same as the 35th Anniversary Set Wolverine. At least thats what it looks to be from the pics i've seen.
..time to go spend $15 on a comic pack now.

For those who can wait - i believe the Wolverine/16" sentinel will be offered in the fall from specialty shops...so instead of dishing out over 100$ going to wait i say.

Too bad the figs with the Sentinels are just reissues- a 'days of Futures Past" Logan would have been amazing- and completely do-able from existing molds- just make a new (older) head.
Better still, they coulud have made a Nimrod to go with it- I'd actually shell out a hundred (on ebay) for that two pack! |

I'm getting 2 blue/purp Sentinels on first sight. And as long as blue/purps are available at TRU (much like Galactus in these parts), I'll buy one whenever I have $50 and the hunt was dry.Or you could just trade me your Cable w/Hope for the CP NC. I'll even throw in something extra. PM sent.
