Sega Genesis Inspired Predator 2 Figure by NECA

....best 16 bit console ever. Oh, the fig is cool too!

I'm not knocking this figure itself, but I do wish they would focus on other figs in the video game inspired series

I want a Alien vs. Predator arcade Dutch.

Since they are only really doing plain repainting, and the Dutch from the game is not directly Arnold, they likely won't do that. They also said they tested a Dutch 8-Bit repaint, but didn't like how it turned out so they didn't proceed with it.

Now they have said that Predators based on the AvP games are likely at some point. I also wouldn't be surprised to see an Aliens video game Xenomorph or two at some point. They could do a 16-bit dog Alien for sure.

I very much look forward to this release, I really like the 8-bit Predator so the 16-bit Predator 2 seems like a natural pick up. Plus I actually had a Genesis, I never got like any movie games when I played the Genesis but I did play the shit out of the X-Men game.

Oh I'm fully aware of that. Doesn't stop me from wanting one 8)

I love the neca video game stuff. love. it. totally stupid hooked.

buuuut, It's particularly cool with the predator figures because you can just throw them on the shelf next to all the "real world" paints scheme predators. cause let's be honest, who's to say there isn't a race of purple and baby blue and taupe and doo-doo brown aliens out there running around? not me buddy, not me.

The Genesis was great. I actually really like the Predator 2 Movie. The game, not so much. I'll be picking this up for sure. I need to find an NES Jason figure at some point. Recently picked up the Retro Jason. Love it.

I'd like to see some based on the Capcom game. It would be awesome if they branched out into more franchises. I'd kill for a Splatterhouse Rick.

He totally does fit in, especially with the Lost Tribe/Dead End crew and their wacky paint schemes and designs.

I used to have this game, and the City Hunter looks great in this color scheme. I can't wait!

Hopefully NECA will give us some Xeno's from the Genesis (or MUCH better SNES) version of Alien 3!

The Capcom AvP beat-em-up is one of the greatest arcade games ever made. I play it all the time to this day on MAME. I'd kill for figures of the characters you can play as, especially the two space marines, but I'm sure license issues and the game's relative obscurity outside of hardcore gaming circles would prevent it from ever happening.

On Twitter Randy has shown some degree of interest in eventually doing the predators from the arcade game, but the humans are most likely off the table. NECA has basically said that if it's any actual predator then there's potential, be they from games, comics, or remakes of older toys. Predator is their longest running line and they're running out of movie predators, they're doing the AVP movie preds for series 14 and after those three the only film yautja left are Ancient from AVP (I hate this guy because he has a cape), an updated Wolf, and maybe Bull from AVPR. Pretty soon we'll have waves with nothing but comic and game figures, and I imagine more Kenner homages.
