I received my sentinel today and decided to post a few pics, I like this sentinel it is very cool and bulky and the paint applications are very nice, but I like the BAF just a little bit more because of the detail and colors. They do give a lot of nods to the original design of the BAF sentinel.

Do you by chance have the MU Galactus? I would love to see the new Sentinel next to him as well.

I'm just curious; Is it the actual sculpt, or the "costume" design that you like more?

Personally I do too. I own A complete BAF sentinel and love him, the scale, colors detail and weight are awesome. If I get the chance I'd love to get myself an army of them as they work perfect with MU figures. I wouldn't mind getting the newer figure as 2 of them will be around the going rate of a Legends version, but I almost can justify paying the extra for a ML version.

Thanks for the pics. This is exactly what I'd been waiting for. The pics confirm my thoughts about the BAF being better in every way. The MU Sentinel looks kinda silly to me and the legends looks much more realistic.
The BAF looks more like a bot while the MU version looks like a person in a suit.

While the ML Sentinel does have that neat techno feel to it, with cables and hardware and such, The MU Sentinel is a more Traditional Sentinel. like the classic Silver Age or some such. even today with the Sentinels in Schism, they look more like MU than ML.
Not to mention if its built like Galactus, that means its much more sturdier. My old ML Sentinel would never stay standing and loved to topple over.
What i wanna do, since the MU Mold has a bigger deeper chest, I wanna hollow out a sentinel, add a chair, and put a GIJoe in there, and Suddenly you got a O.N.E. piloted Sentinel

I completely agree with you. Really glad that I didn't sell my Legends Sentinel in anticipation of this one.

I disagree. I think that the ML Sentinel looks more like the traditional version. I think the MU version looks much more cartoony or anime-like. Just my opinion.

^ I can totally understand folks liking the techno-design of the ML fig more. If we can get the detail of the ML in the size/body shape of the MU, that would be awesome.

I won't get either. Mainly because I will never find MU Sentinel at retail, ever. Plus the Legends one has them wires coming out of its hands which makes it cooler. To me, the Legends one looks superior, but if the MU one had the colour of the Legends one [not so much just copying the colour itself, but the detail] the MU would win hands down.

I might actually get a one since this bad boy looks way more unique compared to the ML vs MU Galactus figure. Plus Its a good way to get a yellow wolverine. Gyuuhhhh!

Both look good- the MU version just looks more advanced- definitely more threatening.
The colors suck though- they really need to release the purple version in stores.

Y'know, I was just reading Exiles and they go to the House of M universe- and the Sentinels there look awesome!

I think the build figure is superior especially since its Mark Sylvestrys design.

Yes, the BAF is better overall; the organic sculpt of the quads and bicep muscles on the MU version are a little funky considering the thing's a robot.
