Retail release in January 2018 priced at 6480¥. Looks like aside from extra hands and faces he'll include a Gohadoken effect piece.

Man, I'm already in the Storm Collectibles MK line and I've been on the fence between SC and Figuart Street Fighter figures, not really being sure as to which line I want cause I wanted to have them all in 1:12, but I really think the Figuarts Ryu looks better and this Akuma looks saw gaaawd...I might just take the plunge.

I'm kinda missing the 天 - Kanji on his back but there probably isn't a good way to include it - maybe those plastic prints they used to make speech bubbles and stuff could've worked, but that would look a bit wonky since you need a stand to keep it floating.
Anyways, great looking figure, don't know if I will buy it but seems to be the best Street Fighter SHF yet as far as sculpt goes. |

This looks pretty good. This look is technically a SF4 Akuma though. Although he has his classic costume in SFV he wears padded gloves and a black belt instead of the ropes. Also has his symbol on his prayer beads. I liked those subtle changes to the outfit. Reminiscent to how he appears in alpha.

I think he does look better than the rest of the SF figures released by Figuarts but I also think his head looks kinda big for the rest of his body......
o__O maybe I am too used to more stylized proportions..... |
