I know the art style they're going for, but 2 of the 3 faces look doofy as all hell.

They used to interpret or at least form fit the face to the figure. This is just weird to look at, when it should otherwise be an easy home run.

I think they are going with Full Power as him being in his SSJ form all the time from the Cell games.

Hence the goofy face like he used when talking to other characters not named Frieza while in SSJ mode.

I'm aware. To be precise, what I'm pointing out is the mouths are too small given the heads, and the face sits way too low. The expressions aren't inherently bad, but they seem copy/paste from the show. They aren't considering how it would look in 3D.

They're really reaching for more Goku figures huh? I wonder if this means we'll see another Vegeta too. Maybe they'll do one of Vegeta in his final battle with Kid Buu after the Namekian dragonballs revive him.

I'm Pretty Stoked About This. We Get The SSJ3 Goku Body Freely This Time And We Won't Have To MoD It. It's Great We Also Got A New SSJ Head Sculpt/Mold For Goku. Although Kinda Disappointing It's Another Goku Fig.

Basically by mass producing the body they basically make a budget friendly SHF figure. So they will ride this body until they can't.

Vegeta would also be a good candidate for a similar reason.

I've been waiting for an official remake of the original Super Saiyan Goku design ever since the new body type was introduced so many years ago. It's that iconic look that I just love seeing depicted properly, and I think they nailed it, here. I'm pleasantly surprised to see a new hair mold and neutral face that are even more comic-accurate than the previous ones. Even the happy face looks good in my opinion.

If the Tamashii Nation 2020 event was anything to go by, it seems to me that this is the start of a new beginner-friendly wave for SHF's Dragon Ball line, with new versions of previously released characters for lower price points.

It's quite a good price to be honest. More figures at this price will drive sales. Especially what you're getting for the price. I compare toy companies now adays to see who I should support.

This is definitely more to the price range I like to see. I've got the awakening Goku, but don't have a good 'normal' SS. Also like the hair sculpt of this far better than the Rose/blue style they've been using a lot.
