Been waiting on a definitive version of this that isn't Hot Toys. I just might pick this up.

I have been wanting an SHF MKIII, badly, like really, really bad ever since their MKVI!! I cannot wait!!! I do hope that they improve on articulation after all of the IM models that they have released over the years and that it's not mostly a rehash of parts from the VI. And for the love of God, when will SHF add flight stands and more accessories like the Figma MK VII DX figure?! But still, I am super excited to finally get a MKIII!

Yah, I've been waiting for this as well. Figma was very good, but Figuarts should do a better job with the shoulders and knees.
Repulsor and boot jet effect accessories are visible in the photo, and I'd be surprised if the set doesn't include wrist rockets. Bonus would be an alternate head sculpt with raised face plate, as Figuarts could probably do a version that's more realistic than Figma. (The alternate head sculpt eyes and beard were painted rather simplistically, having the effect of making Martin Downey's face resemble a pen-and-ink drawing -- a good one, but a drawing nonetheless.) Now, if Comicave subsequently releases their own version of this armor, I'll be perturbed. Last edited by Skoob; 06-23-2016 at 01:28 PM.. |

This is so great, I never expected this version of the armor to be included in the Figuarts line. I wonder if Tamashii Nations will cover any of the other older Marvel films? I wouldn't mind a Figuarts Armored Thor.
