Looks great if he's surrounded by hobbits. Too short.

Got to agree, think ideally I would have hoped if this was pushing around the 170-175mm (roughly 6.6") would have been ideal. However if we're going by other source material and comparing this to the 1/6 Hot Toys version, its in scale, although in the movie it looked like he was standing at roughly 6'6" at the least. Tempting need to get a better idea of "gimmicks" and other details.
Would like to know the thoughts of others with this compared to the Revoltech version of the Mark 1 if they own it? |

Maybe they scaled it to their Tony Stark figure and other Iron Man figures and not true 1/12? I'm getting in any case.

fffffffinally!!! yessssss, I have been waiting on this for so long. I hope this scale talk isn't an issue. Don't think it will for me.
I'm a big SHF guy and I really like their "smaller" scale. It's perfect for Star Wars. I feel like this character could fit in with those guys. I pre-ordered him and IG-11 immediately. THANKS SHF! |

I *really* hope we get some of the other armors that were teased. I'd kill for a Figuarts Silver Centurion and a Heartbreaker. |

I'm getting it too, just for me gripe wise that scene when he escapes from the cave, most those terrorists faces were level at the arc reactor light/camera. But as I said, source material and other scales say Mark 1 was about 6'1" which puts this at slightly over that. My last gripe was, great we do get the fire and flight effects but he did have a crude left wrist rocket. The Revoltech version had that if I remember, but considering the 3rd party prices for it are ridiculous and I already have a few other SHF suits...well even with an abridged collection, having the first MCU Phase 1 Iron Man suit (that actually did business), seems right for anyone.
