I know its a long shot..but do you guys see any trends as to when the main stores like target, try and walmart restock their shelves. Maybe we can nail down if there is a corporate restocking date..as in .."restock shelves sunday night or die, underlings!"
I think I've had the best luck on mondays. |

I have the best luck at Target on Tuesday or Wednesday, TRU never seems to restock and most of the Wal-Marts in this area don't have Marvel Universe at all

Target here seems to do their's on Tuesday. As for Walmart it seems they are restocking everyday. I can go in there at anytime and they have pallets of stuff out, just nothing I'm after.

I don't think there's really a global day they get trucks in. For me TRU seems to be the most routine, but just because it's a delivery day doesn't mean they always get good stuff. You can ask an associate when their delivery days are, but from my experiences most don't know their head from a hole in the wall.

I like this idea, but I don't think every story has a "RESTOCK TODAY" day across the chain.

I have about 33 Wal-Marts, Targets, and TRU that I check DAILY. The pattern I see is that it varies. Especially with Wal-Mart. Each store seems to have different re stocking days.

Walmart is a lost cause when it comes to pin-pointing their stocking periods, at least in my area. Seems totally random. My TRU stocks on Fridays, as that's when their truck comes in. Targets in my area usually restock on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Sundays isn't out of the question either.

I was told that TRU restocks Friday Night/ Saturday Morning. AS for WM... It depends on what the Toy Dept Manager orders. You will find that they stock this mostly at night, so some scalpers raid the boxes before putting them out. IF the person working is nice you can sometimes get them to check for you before going to the store... i found asking the guys in sports or electronics helps.

Yeah it's a great setup I have My whole collection was bought at retail or traded. Never spent a penny over retail prices . Problem is some of the older ones are starting to get harder to find. So I may just have to bite the bullet an order online or pay my comic shop the prices they want

I've found Target to be the most consistent. I have one that re-stocks over the weekend and one that re-stocks mid-week; Walmart is a crap shoot, and my TRU's are a long way from home.

Wal-marts are dropping MU randomly all over.. and it sucks. Target seems to have gotten over their dry spell and are now getting hit with MU even in the dense areas! Yay them!

I've noticed this too. 5 Wal-Marts I regular have dropped the line due to "lack of sales". And Targets where I normally find nothing seems to be the ones that are update on the latest waves.

I have a buddy who only collects star wars figures. He hits up all 4 targets in our area daily sometimes twice a day(homie is grinding). He gives me scoop on re-stocks of MU figures via text message. When he calls me that means get here asap!!! They have what im looking for, plus it saves a lot in gas.
